I just dont understand why you rob SJax. Why not go after someone who is gun shy. I think it was planned because you dont rob Sjax when he is home.

lol Stephen Jackson would be pretty close to the bottom of my list of athletes I'd attempt to rob.

Yeah when I was growing up, we had some guys steal motorcycles and stuff from our property more than once. We caught several of them on different occasions scoping out our house from accross the street in a wooded area. They would watch for when my parents went to work and when it was most likely no one was home so they could steal... Albeit, those never happened at gunpoint.

But, my point is, I would guess 90% of the time when guys do stuff like that, they've been scoping out the home/property and trying to get patterns down of people coming and going. I am surprised out of all the pro athletes in Charlotte, they chose Jack to target. I wish he would've been home so he could've capped their asses. He wouldn't face charges for that either.

I pray they find who did it so Jack and his family can feel a bit more at ease, it's a scary thing.

Hate that. Charlotte's not Miami, I mean that seems like a place that athletes are often robbed.

Stephen, if you read stuff here, I sell security cameras!

i also think that its really irresponsible of the local news here....they showed the police report with his whole address written on it, and even showed sections of community where the walls were low enough to jump over

I am just thankful no one was hurt. I hope they get the dirty SOB's who did it and let them rot in prison for years to come.

With google earth and tax records showing who owns each and every house...your address isn't that private. Having said that, I think the Bobcatsplanet crew should go to the TV producers house and film him/her walking down to get the morning paper with bed head hair and morning breathe.

btw..when Jax first came to Charlotte, wasn't he staying in JRich's old house? Is this the same one? Hoping he owns the house (because he loves Charlotte).

And they should search for suspects with really low-IQ's, Jax is the last guy you'd want mad at you, and scaring his wife is a pretty quick way to get him mad at you.

This is in fact Jason Richardson's old house. My friend ( a guy who is also a STH and sits right next to me every game) lives in that very community a couple houses down. Gerald Wallace always goes there to visit Stephen and his family. I thought the same exact thing as in THANK GOD HE WASNT HOME. They didn't target Stephen Jackson for him they targeted his house for valuables. But at the same time it would have been awesome to see our main man murder three low lifes in an act of self defense. Our defense would never be messed with as long as Stephen Jackson is on the team. Heck it would be rated 99 on 2k too. But thank goodness his wife is okay.

My sympathy goes out to SJax, and especially his wife. None of us who haven't been in that situation can even imagine the trauma.

That said, Jax is the second to last NBA player I'd rob, He gets robbed by me right before I go to Gilbert Arena's house :)...

Now if someone would rob LeBron... I'm just sayin "I understand."

His poor wife. That really sucks. Thank goodness they didn't do something even more awful to her.

What a bunch of idiots. If he was home, they would almost certainly have some holes put in them. I hope they get these guys.

damn lonny baxter strikes again

...CMPD immediately ruled out former Bobcats Lonnie Baxter and Sean May were involved, based on the fact that food was still left in the fridge...

Scary, scary stuff. Wouldn't surprise me if they targeted him specifically. Remember last year or two years ago when those NFL players were tied up, held at gunpoint and robbed? This stuff unfortuantely happens because they are pro athletes. Hope his wife is able to get over such a traumatic event. I'm interested to see what Jackson has to say on the matter.

That's deep. I read it and seriously wow. It could have been much worse, but thankfully his wife is unharmed. But seriously, they're pretty stupid to rob Cpt Jack's house. If he was home, I wouldn't be surprised if three coffins came out, with Jack in law saying that he "pleads the fifth"

But really, Thank God everyone is safe.

Those punks better be glad Jack wasn't home. Capt. Jack is not afraid to shoot....look at his field goal percentages.
