Miniseries on Starz, it just premiered tonight, they're playing it again on Starz in Black tomorrow and Starz on Sunday, both at 10 pm.

It's about the English throne in 1138 AD, and the politics and religion. Based on Ken Follet's book and it's got Ian McShane, Donald Sutherland and Rufus Sewell. I'd highly recommend it.

I recorded this last night but fell asleep before it came on (work right now is hell on earth).

Read the book on the recommendation of the wife. I though it was pretty good but way too long. Wife tho thinks it's one of the best books ever.

It was way too long and more than a little depressing.

That said, I did enjoy it. Looking forward to the miniseries but am not a fan of the casting.

Looking forward to the miniseries but am not a fan of the casting.

Ian McShane? Rufus Sewell? Top notch actors in my opinion, although since I've never read the series, I have no idea if they are good castings for their respective roles.

Anyways, this show intrigues me, reminds me of George R.R. Martin's Game of Thrones, one of my favorite book series. Will have to check this out.

Little off topic but Spartucus seasone 1 was the best show Starz has ever produced.
