All three of NC's pro stadiums were found to have major violations in the concessions stands. Take a look.

If it's canned, your probably ok.

Otherwise, not so much.

I watched those videos earlier. 2 thoughts:

Why the hell is Florida such a disgusting place for sports teams? Literally every stadium in the state is nasty.

Charlotte really isn't that bad. Compare the footnotes of TWC and BoA and they aren't anywhere near as bad as most of the other places.

Yeah, but the percentages are still bad.

If 3/4ths of the vendors are in violation, that's pathetic.

funny thing is that I'm pretty sure they're still all above 95+ for their health scores. I've eaten at a place that was a 87. God knows what they did to their food.

But it was delicious

Don't eat anywhere......

Chicago's stadium's were all perfect, I'd say that's not too shabby.

75% is a terrible number don't get me wrong. I don't buy food from games regardless other than roasted peanuts (in a bag). The prices these days are just as bad as the quality.

Agree with the comment about prices and quality, Swedd. I bring a pack of nabs (do we still call them nabs?), a granola bar, and a bottle of water from home each game. After those health code results, I shall continue bringing in outside foods.

In all honesty, I've gotten some hamburgers at TWCA that were barely warm, and it was disappointing.

If I have time, I just like to eat at Brixx Pizza before or after the game. I say support the business around the arena in addition to supporting your Bobcats with ticket purchases.....

Bellacino's...it's on the Bobcat property, but with an external entrance on the Trade Street side is a great option, but you need to call ahead to avoid a 20 minute wait for the food. They have flat screen TV's on ESPN, pizza, grinders and beer for $2/bottle.

Also, there is a $5.00 parking lot 1 block away on the other side of the Bus station (brevard & 4th), leaving is a breeze with no line getting to any of the major highways and if it's raining, most of the walk can be done through the covered walk-way of the Bus station.

Great lot...I use it for panthers games too.

Shhhh. Blockparty, don't give away our little secret! I've used that $5.00 parking lot myself with no problems.

You mean the pizza place to the immediate left Strike City? I think they even use Strike City's bathrooms.

Yeah, that definitely is a solid, cozy, low-key, affordable option. I ate there after the Sacramento Kings game on MLK day(?) last year. They had some fairly hot waitresses there too. Jeans and T-shirt hot. The best kind.

Thanks for the head's up. I've been wanting to try that place.

When we go to panthers or bobcats games in uptown we usually go to rock bottom brewery on tryon before the game and shoot pool and get food, and then hit the graduate on trade after. If your really worried about the food at the stadium that much though, just drink more liquor,it'll kill the germs!
