Games coming out soon?

things are quiet on the basketball front so it seems as good-a-time as any to talk gaming! A few games that are coming out soon that have caught my eye are: Test Drive unlimited 2, Mafia 2, Fallout: New Vegas and Star Wars the force unleashed 2(loved the first one). I've not long completed Red Dead Redemption which was great i'm even tempted to play through it again! which i dont think ive ever done with any game before. So yeeah Any good games coming out you've got your eye on? or/and Any games you're playing atm that are worth the money? :)

Red Dead Redemption was so good that it has actually spoiled the next couple of games that I have played after it. :biggrin:

When is the next game of that caliber coming out? Not a big fan of the franchise (like it, but not in love with it) Halo:Reach is out in September.

If the hype is to be believed, Crysis 2 is going to take graphics to a whole new level and will be the shooter to end all shooters....holiday release.

I think these, as well as the perennial COD, will be the blockbusters post-Red Dead, which I haven't even finished yet.....having way too much fun roaming the countryside picking flowers and doing all the side missions. Absolutely hated GTAIV, so I can't believe Rockstar actually made this. Also, as a Wii owner, I can't wait for the new Metroid coming out next month and Epic Mickey!

On the DLC front....you must get DeathSpank from either the PSN or the XBox Live Arcade....hilarious fun RPG that constantly makes fun of RPGs. Highly recommended and well worth $15.

I have to say that I spend alot of time on sports games. Fifa 10, NBA 2k10, so they're games I suggest since I pour hours and hours into them.

Other games I would suggest would be if you have a PS3, you can't go past Uncharted 1+2. Both are utterly brilliant.

If you're a transformers fan (like I am), then you can't go past Transformers: War for Cybertron.

A HUGE game that was a massive sleeper was Valkyria Chronicles. Brilliant gameplay, brilliant graphics, a decent story and awesome music.

Most of the games I've suggested have been out already for some time, but for me the future doesn't hold much I must say. Not really that much that is interesting to me besides Infamous 2, Fifa 11 and NBA 2k11. I prefered Oblivion to Fallout 3, so I'm not really interested in Vegas. Mafia 2 to me has been overshadowed in a way by Yakuza 3.

Edit: No really, it is crap by how it'll drain your life. You'll start playing, then you'll be HC like those Koreans then you'll disappear from BCP because you're playing SC2 until 12 years later when SC3 teaser is shown, then you'll stop playing SC2 in anticipation of SC3, then we'll have you for about 2 years before you disappear for SC3 all over again. And then by the time you come back, it isn't NBA anymore. It's rocket ball where athletes are almost midgit-sized in rocket boots who can dunk at will. And then you'll see these horrible things and when you try to switch to your beloved ESPN it'll be showing Slamball, but not with trampolines but with pogo sticks. And you'll be like holy crap and your brain will EXPLODEEEEEE. Then you'll get cremated and your invisible pet bunny Fuzzles will dance on your grave before crapping for the last time on top of you.
