It's hard to narrow it down for me.
I was fortunate enough to see wins against LeBron and Kobe....
But, I really enjoyed the win against Sacramento last year. The first half was an all-out highlight reel blowout by the Bobcats. It was one nasty dunk or alley-oop after another.
And then, Tyreke Evans was absolutely brilliant in the second half to make it interesting, with a close Bobcats win in the final minute.
Good times.......

I like em all but last year I got to see the cavs win which was cool, but my favorite one I went too was the Raptors game where we totally waxed em and Henderson came in and had some sickk dunks.

My favorite game was against the Grizzlies when Gerald caught Feltons miss and layed it in as tie expired....that game was awesome.

I think I'd have to go with the Grizzlies game as well. So exciting. We had to make a comeback which added to the drama. Then there was Gerald's chasedown block, OJ Mayo's contested three to tie the game, and the tip in at the buzzer. Perfect.
The runner ups would be the Bucks game and the first playoff game. The Bucks game was the first I attended where the crowd was as loud as it could be. Everyone was into it and the team fed off of it and won in OT. I don't think the first playoff game needs to have an explanation.

Gotta go w/ the playoff game. Even though they lost, I've never been a part of something that loud and crazy.

1. Game 3 vs Magic. So loud and intense even though we lost, great atmosphere.
2. 2006 Triple OT win vs Lakers. Kobe fouled out with 58. Gforce, Okafor and felton all went off. Loved seeing all the Kobe jerseys going home in shame.

Im gonna go with a stretch of games. Last year around March 20th to April 4 or something like that. Ending with an overtime win against Milwaukee. We had a stretch of 5 home games. Won 4 outta 5 and going into the games and coming out were a feeling not often seen in CLT. Everyone started to realize we were gonna be in the playoffs, and we were winning in streaks. Probably the most optimistic i've seen Time warner Cable. Good buzz to have. Kinda felt a little relief, a little excitment, a little validation for having season tickets to 5 non-winning seasons. Just felt good.

OT win against bucks right before playoffs. Jax nails a three right over carlos delfino's face after crossing him up 3 times and we win off of a offensive rebound tip from chandler to felton. The place was rocking! They also still had bogut at this point so it was a huge win all around.
close second, Game 3 of the finals vs. Magic.....Loud, Proud, Intense.....if only we would have won.

Wizards game in 2009, last game before the all star break, mid week. The arena was so empty, it was eerie. I was walking around the upper concourse where I met Fred Whitfield and after retrieving my family from the stands we proceeded to follow him, all the while not really knowing where we were going (kinda figuring upper part of the lower level at best). He proceeded to sit my wife and my father in the pair of seats next to the bench (Jordan had purchased them, but had yet to use them). So as my wife sat 2 feet away from Gerald and co., Mr Whitfield brought me to the best damn seat in the house. Center court inner circle.
For those who do not have the means to experience a "feet on the court" seat, it is the most amazing thing you'll ever experience. To give you an idea, if I had season tix, I'd give be willing to "sell back" (based on the current season) 1 Miami game, 1 Lakers game, and whatever else the rep needed for an upgrade for even minnesota or any other team.
Besides the food, and cookies and milk post game, oh and free beer :)
My first one, Dec. 14th, 2007 against the Magic.
We had great seats right next to the suites at the terrace tables. That was the ESPN All-Access game, and the first half was great.
Sam screwed it up in the second half, but it was a great experience.

Yes, I remember that exactly. It looked awesome from our angle. And I recall that Derrick Brown got into the act with some high-flying nasty stuff too. We were tearing them up, and then we got to see MVP-caliber play from the rook Evans in the second half.

That must have been '07, actually, the day they traded Brezec and Hermann.

That Cavs game was great. The Saturday night crowd uptown was electric. LeBron didn't really "bring it", but at least that contributed to a Bobcats win!

Yes, that was a great experience. Even though we lost, it was a well-contested NBA game, and the scene uptown was exciting.

I was trying to think of a game older than this one, but not quite had the same intensity.
It's nice seeing Celtics and Lakers fans leave early because the 'Cats beat their "chosen teams," and I've been so fortunate to see both.
However, during that Bucks game, both teams were straight-up beating the crap out of each other. It was so intense. And then the 'Cats won. Awesome time.

Yup, typo.
I wish I could've been there for that Bucks game, but it was still entertaining as hell on tv.

Yeah, it's always fun to see the middle-aged guys from Greensboro, Rocky Mount, or wherever dressed in Laker warmup suits or full-on Laker uniforms hang their heads in disappointment as they leave the arena. It's almost becoming a tradition.
Someone once referred to it as the yearly "Banana Convention" at TWCA.

Gotta give honorable mention to the first game ever played at the uptown arena, Fall of '05. Overtime win against the Celtics. Packed house. Awesome new facility. Community pride.

I've been to about 15 home games, we won all but two. The two losses were actually my favorite games. Games 3/4 of the Magic series were just insane with people getting into the action. Loudest I've ever heard a Charlotte basketball game. If only EVERY home game was like that...

A friend of mine played pickup basketball with Will Ferrell when he was in town making a movie around then. Said he was a really nice guy.

Triple OT victory over Lakers..Kobe had 58 (21 in first quarter I think). We won, I also won the TicTacTacado contest that night and got a team autographed ball

My favorite game was against the Grizzlies when Gerald caught Feltons miss and layed it in as tie expired....that game was awesome. No contest this one. As good as the Lakers, Cavs, Celts victories have been, and the beatdowns of the Spurs and Suns on consecutive nights this past season, the finish of that Grizz game.....I went insane like I've never went before at a game...and I wasn't the only one. Any casual fan that attended that game became a believer in the Cats.

Best game I have ever been to was when DJ torched Derrick Rose in their Rookie year for 29 pts on something like 14/14 FT, we won in overtime if memory serves me well. My friends and I were ripping on Rose's academic achievements and Luol Deng foe being Luol Deng...great game and great times. There is no way they didn't hear us at some point.

Home win over the Spurs (I'm a closet Spurs fan as far as the Western Conference goes) was 2nd, I was courtside and got Tony Parker to look at me as I insulted him. Was Larry Hughes on the team yet then?

My fav game is a tie between the first home playoff game and the Memphis game this year when G Wallace won it on a tip in at the buzzer. The arena almost exploded when that ball went in.

Open up the WAY BACK MACHINE during the last dead night before the 2010-11 schedule is released.
I pulled up the box score for the Triple overtime victory over the Lakers a few years back....low and behold, Adam went 1-15 in that game and we still won. Emeka had 22pts, 25 rebounds, Ray had 15 assists and a poor shooting night, Kobe had 58 before fouling out, Crash had 28pts 8 rebounds before fouling out and the following players played 10 minutes or more (Voskul, Ely, Robinson, Anderson and Brezec) AND we still won.

man there is so many but i have 4 that stick out in my head.
*G-wallace tip in win vs grizzlies
*game 3 vs orlando (just seeing the opening playoff introductions was so surreal, plus i got to talk shit to vince carter and dwight during hafltime shootaround)
*the lakers 3 ot game, mek had like 25 boards and gerald put up like 40 it was nuts.
*first season, emeka blocks tracy mcgrady at buzzer to win game.
and the most hurtful loss......
*loss vs boston when ray allen hit that memorable dagger to win it. it was the worst loss in the history. and sportcenter remind me of it for the rest of the season when they showed top plays for the nba season

For me it has to be the night the PA was off for the entire 3rd Quarter. I felt like I was at a real basketball game for the first time, instead of some canned event. You could hear the sound of the ball, the shoes on the court, the players barking and especially...the fans cheering and calling out. The fans are completely entertaining when you can actually hear them.
It was true game without all the high decibel whitewash bullshit.
If you're going to soar to high levels of sound in the Arena; let it be real please; don't drown out your fans.
Damn I hate that crap.
Okay I feel better now.

I remember that night...It was 2008-09 season I think, late in the season and they had already started the '12 minutes' of energy. That was the night it was pretty evident they pump in crowd noise where appropriate. It was fun to hear LB yelling orders out (from the upper deck).

Hopefully MJ heard you.
Only thing I want is the horn sound on a major (and I mean sportscenter major) dunk and something decent for a three. That monotone voice Pat has when the other team scores should be used the rest of the time.
You should be loud in the intros, and in the fourth quarter. that's it.

I wonder if there is some sort of NBA requirement for all of the canned noise and elaborate entertainment........
