F Najera, Amundson is a baller... The dude is intense and goes after rebounds like his life depends on it, and he's willing to do the dirty work. Only reason Najera has lasted this long is b/c of his pedigree and the hype he got in college. Amundson is better than Najera.

I hope we bring him in, but first, I want to go ahead and wrap up this deal and get CP3 in here.

While other teams appear to be more offensively minded, it looks like the Cats are trying to become an even better defensive team. That would give them more fast break opportunities. Good role players can make a difference.

I'd really like to add Amundson if possible. He's a perfect role-player type, especially with his zest for rebounding. I think he be a spectacular backup for Tyrus.

I go away and acouple of days later everyone is convinced we are getting CP3, you guys gotta chill out, hes going nowhere until he starts the year and the Hornets get f*cked up, then he will want to leave! Reckon we will see some moved by Hornets to keep CP3 happy.

But Amundson i think would be and upgrade over Najera, so if we could ship him off for cap space or some draft picks and get in Amundson i would CR#*M

Definitely item 1....why else have interest in a backup 4 when we already have one in Tyrus? Very good sign.

As always, I'm hopeful on item 2! Cautiously pessimistic, but hope it happens of course.

I think everyone is overlooking the fact that Louis can play Center too. With Larry's new found love for small ball, if we sign this guy he would be a definite upgrade over Diaw when we do run that set (considering he actually can play a little center and is a workhorse).

I do think this signals Diaw is on the way out. Diaw+Dampier+DJ needs to bring us a starting point guard, a young center, and maybe even a draft pick or two.

UPS looks more like a SF then PF. And Tyrus is still our only real big that can move.

He'd be the other end of the PF spectrum that Fabio brought...I mean Walter Herrmann. More scrappy hustle and less ackward running and throwing up 3 pointers.

All he needs is about 100 more tattoos and he could be Birdman in the Eastern Conference.
