With smart phones, laptops, ipads etc you can literally surf from anywhere, which leads me to this question...
Where is the strangest place that you've been when while browsing BCP?
Funeral (not your own  ), Prison, While getting your wisdom teeth removed?
Let us know

Hmm. Good question. I'd have to say during a cavs game in January...haha. Because the fans there were insufferable. Good thing I didn't wear a Heat Jersey, right???

i have surfed BCP from probably six countries. let me see: US, Canada for sure, almost certainly the UK, France, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Egypt. I guess that's 7. Still doesn't keep me from being a lurker, though.

Wow, Are you in the military?
I was going to say Egypt! Bastard :)
I was on vacation and we stopped there for a couple days. There was a bombing the first day and I holed up on day two and played on the interwebs for a little while, shot some hoops, and so on. I wasn't going out there, you kidding me?

Canada. No really for me it's unusual since it's about a 20 hour flight for me to get to Canda.

Speaking of unusual places, in our last 100-ish visitors we have had people from
Kailua Kona, Hawaii
Reykjavík, Gullbringusysla, Iceland
Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand

there is one that I see sometimes on the map that is off of the coast of East Africa where you can't even see an island... I would love to know the story behind that.
Reykjavík, Gullbringusysla, Iceland
I thought the volcano was there?

egypt is actually really safe, especially in cairo and especially if you're a dude. you just get hassled a lot for money everywhere you go if you look like a westerner. but then that happens if you walk around rome or certain parts of nyc at a certain time of day, too.

Here is that guy that pops up in the middle of the ocean off of east africa. I wonder if its a boat, submarine or if its one of the secret sub ocean settlements that are being built for the elite to live when the earth's magnetic poles flip in 2012 :g:
He browses via ipod touch.
If you're the guy, register and clue us in. You may have us ALL beat as far as unusual places that you have browsed BCP

The first time I logged on to BCP I was in Dublin. Last summer I logged on from Beijing a couple times. Last week I logged on from Bangalore, India. Still, that only makes 4 countries. I gotta step up my world-log-on game.

Dude, I hate to be that guy, but that is off of WEST Africa. As I understand West Africa is pretty nice. Heck it could be Emeka or Gana on his boat when he goes back to visit family in the summer. East Africa, on the other hand, off the coast of Ethiopia is pirate territory. You don't sail through or hang out there unless you have the heavy artillary.

I'd just keep clicking the zoom in button until it showed if that's an island or something.
Or just track the IP back to the source and get a location.

That looks like one of those proxy site things, or the "offshore island" set up for tax purposes. I highly doubt anyone is actually there.
