This was inspired by a conversation on Twitter where we wondered what if LJ and Zo had been able to get along with each other.

Let's look at a few 'what ifs' from a Bobcats perspective.

What if Sean May could have stay maintained a reasonable weight.
What if we had packaged 5 and 13 and moved up a few years back

Let's hear some of yours.

wat if we hadnt traded kobes draft rights to l.a.? The Hornets wouldn't've drafted Kobe in the first place. It's funny how the greatest sports myth in North Carolinian professional sports history continues to persist.....Kobe was NEVER an option for the Charlotte Hornets. NEVER. Bob Bass said this the day of the trade, the day after the trade, a year after the trade, a decade after the trade, today if you ask him.

The Hornets had Geiger and Zidek at 5 and smartly they knew this wasn't going to cut it, so they looked around and saw that the Lakers were shopping Vlade because they had just signed Shaq. Bass/Shinn wanted Vlade, West/Lakers wanted the first rounder to take a chance on Kobe. It's nearly the same as us drafted Brandan Wright for GSW in exchange for JRich....like the Lakers telling the Hornets to draft Kobe, GSW told us to draft Wright for them to enable the trade. I'll admit it's fun to think of Kobe playing for the Hornets (I think Bass even mused on this) but it was NEVER a possibility. I can't remember the players, but Bass listed off 4 other players that they had ahead of Kobe if they had kept the pick....and this wasn't just in retrospect; this was a day or so after the draft.

So, I guess the "what if" would be, what if the Hornets had genuine interest and drafted Kobe for themselves?

Also, what if the colonists had lost the Revolutionary War to the British?

And of course a recent favorite, what if we traded for Chris Paul?

I about bought one the year before last, think it was 100k a yr, I live in davidson county and wasn't sure if I would have been able to utilize it as much as I would have wanted. They give you basically tickets to every event at TWC Arena so easily could sell tickets to good concerts and stuff and playoff games. Then you have first dibs on ACC games, I had them throwing in ACC Tourney tickets, which usually you get first dibs on.

We should get 20+ people on here to form an LLC and everyone chip in 5k a yr for a box or we gets 44 people paying 2.5k a yr each and do an every other game type schedule. :) The sign in the box reads Bobcats Planet
