Colby Karl, the son of George Karl is expected to be waived by the Nuggets. I wonder how hard that would be?

I doubt it's that bad. He hasn't played a game for them, and he's got offeres in Europe I'm sure.

It would be tough on a personal level, but as an organisation you have to look past blood and decide what's the best for the team. In this case, if waiving his son is the best thing to do, then he should go for it.

If he wasn't George Karl's son, he wouldn't have been on Nuggets roster anyway. Both parties will understand it, I suppose.

The owner's son has more power in Denver now (not that he has any qualifications), they just declined to renew 2 people in their front office and George Karl probably saw the writing on the wall and decided to waive him now so he would have more time to pursue other options.
