After reading this artical . I thought i would get you guys input.

Personally i think Livingston hands down would be the better point guard with a good knee. With him as is i think he will be pushing DJ for playing time.
How does this season go down between the two .

Dj and Livingston will fight for the main start spot, with Collins fighting for whatever is left. LB might shift Livingston to the 2 for some unknown reason and play DJ/Collins at 1.

Personally, I think both will do fine. DJ will take the honours of starting (as Livingston's knee...yeah), but Livingston will come in for about 20 minutes or so each night. So both will contribute, and both will play.

Or knowing LB, he'll trade everyone on the roster for random reasons unknown.

I think you just predicted our whole season.

Fine then. DJ and Livingston will fight to the death using nothing but overinflated basketballs as weapons. DJ will target the knee of Livingston and Livingston will target the head. DJ will manage to eliminate Livingston's knee, Livingston will make DJ's head pop. DJ is thus dead, Livingston has to retire due to his busted knee and Collins fills in as the starter.

Happy?

Collins fills in as the starter.

At present, Collins also fills in his jersey. We need him on the Ajinca diet, not the May diet.

Livingston clearly has the most talent . It wouldn't even be any thought as to who starts if Livingston had a good knee. Skill against skill Livingston wins ever time in ever part of the game.

DJ can't lead the team as a starting point . At best DJ is a solid back up.
Collins will not make it pasted training camp. Brown will be itching for a old vetran he can trust running the team

I like both PG's so I think we will be just fine.

You mean like Larry Hughes?

Let's hope Flip Murray would be an option instead.

Like Dr. Strangelove, I'm learning how to stop worrying and love the bomb.....the bomb being the 1s. On paper, they aren't fun to look at, but they both have things to prove in this league, so neither is lacking in the motivation dept. Plus, neither is a cap albatross. Best of all, they embody the Bobcats to a T; they get no love from national, much less local media, they will get hated on by pundits as the season nears, and they'll play hard (I believe), all of which makes them easy to root for.

Totally agreed on Shaun. But DJ checked out of more than a few games when he and Larry weren't getting along. I have my doubts that DJ will even be starting come mid-December.

IMO it is difficult (at this point in time) to know what the roster will look like when training camp starts...and I'm clueless as to what it will look like when the season starts or after the trade dead-line...but...DJ, Shaun, and Collins appear to be the 1s we have so that is what we have to work with...

Any of the three "could" elevate their game and shock everyone...who knows...but it still appears to be our weakest position along with 5 depth...

DJ lacks talent and drive . If its the DJ we saw last season.
Livingston has the tools . But the knees scear me.
Collins . I don't even know if he gets past training camp .

This might be the weakest set of points in the league.
This is where we need to sign Flip . We all know he can run the team in a crunch.

Letting Felton go at that prace might turn out to be a major mistake.

Agreed, we should have kept felton. Our pgs are below average at best.

The way i see it in a timeline :
1st DJ will start the season, Livingston will come off the bench, Collins will get a spot if he impresses LB/a veteran like Earl Watson will get it if he doesnt

2nd DJ will become overwhelmed, LB will bench him after a max. of 30 games,

3rd Shaun will become our starter, DJ will be traded (most likely in a bundle) to a young team that he can grow on, whoever the 3rd guy is will look better than the other 2 due to a lack of pressure and everyone on here will be begging for more of that person.

Playoffs- Idk lolz

Maybe, but i know for a fact it wont happen here under larry brown. If anyone needs a shake up it is DJ. Larry has really messed him up.

I wonder who sticks around longer? DJ or LB?

I hope DJ sticks around longer, I think its a given that LB wont be around next yr. His attitude in some ways seem like hes annoyed to even still be here.

Put me in the DJ camp. There are 2 things I can't let go of in my mind: although he is a model citizen, we can't forget he is/was young and needed to mature when we drafted him, and; in spite of that he was so cool and confident his 1st year. Maybe he overthought things last year, but if that's all it was then I expect his maturity to kick in and get him back over the hump.
Also, the way our team is built, we REALLY need a PG who can knock down a 3. The opposing PG will not be able to sag and clog the lane with DJ starting. Thus keeping everything else more open for our other guys. We need shooters and a PG is where I think it will help most. That's DJ's role. Get the ball up the court and keep his man honest.

And that's saying something because I'm no big DJ fan, but Larry, to nobody's surprise, has worn out his welcome here. Really wish MJ had let him go, as I see Larry bitching and moaning more than usual this year and affecting the team.

Like i said be for this might be the worst set of points in the league . I feel confident we will be adding another quility point . I have a big feeling DJ and Lawson will be fighting for a starting job , With Livingston coming off the beanch. Or traded Sept 13th

What's all the speculation with Denver? I haven't seen a single link regarding mutual interest.

Small talk with a frind who has just heard rumblings. I wouldn't call it quite a sorce. The players is all just a feeling . By serching what worked best for Charlotte.
The fact we signed K Brown made me feel we looking to trade the Dust chip . Then the statement coming from Higgins give this a little more legs. The other day i was told it was Denver and Pistons Rumblings of corse this guy is very low in the organization.

So i just put a deal toghter that i thought made sence money wize for both teams

Ammo so i don't know what one would call it .

Larry Brown won't give either one of them much of a chance. If DJ doesn't perform at an all star level then his ass is going to be benched. And Livingston isn't talented enough to be a starter in the NBA. He probably was pre injury, but certainly not now.

Look for them to package DJ, Diaw, and Dampier in some sort of multi team deal that will land the Bobcats a tough point guard that plays great defense.

I honestly think that Livingston is better than that. It's just a matter of health. Even in his post injury condition he still has that sweet passing and high percentage shooting. He's just a big "if", which is a huge problem. Talent is still there.
