The "What's on TV" thread

OK, I'm a sucker for anything sci-fi so I watched "The Event" last night and was pleased with the first episode. I think I'll give it a few episodes and see what develops.
Did any of you guys watch it?

Also I recorded "Boardwalk Empire" on HBO but I haven't watched it yet.
Did the first episode live up to all of the hype? :g:

Boardwalk Empire was amazing. Not sure if I'll watch The Event, but it does look interesting. Wednesday I'll be watching Modern Family and Thursday I'll be watching The Office.

missed the event. will have to catch it on demand or hopefully saturday rerun. my wife had the dvr tied up with dancing with the stars and 90210. (hey whatever i have to do to control the tv during the nba season, right?)

boardwalk empire was good and shows a lot of promise for a good hbo series

Anyone here still watching "The Event"?

After seeing the 2nd episode I think this show has some potential.
