Coming to town this week are Chad Ochocinco, Terrell Owens, Carson Palmer and the rest of the bengals from that other "Queen City"

the Panthers are 0-2, the BenGALS are 1-1

Because Matt Moore has been playing like Jake version 2.0, We will be entering game 1 of the Jimmy Clausen era

Will the change at QB be enough to get the Panthers their first win of the season?

For us to win, we'd need 25 fat guys with diarrhea to poop in the helmets of every Bengals player before the game.

Boris and 24 members of his posse?

I might actually watch the game. Will be shown on our channel SBS at about 3 a.m.
Use to play NFL video game as a kid and had so much fun with it, also watched one or two superbowls.

I think Boris would over-produce...Sean May, Boris and 3 salad eating rail thin models would probably cover all 25.

The weather will be less than ideal today.

Injuries tend to happen in the rain.

I wish Clausen's first start was on a sunny day. The rain might "dampen" his performance.

Hopefully it won't damage his body.

Clausen has actually had a pretty good game. He's definitely way better than Moore. I wish Carolina would quit turning the fucking ball over so much. 7 turnovers in 2 games is ridiculous. There's no way they can win games by giving the opponent the ball that many times. The running backs lost this game.

Other than Stewart, there were no turnovers in the 2nd half. The problem was idiotic penalties. How many great plays are going to get called back or drives stalled because someone holds, jumps early, or gets an "offensive" pass interference?

The first half of this game didn't matter. The penalties killed them in the 2nd half.

This was a learning experience for Clausen. And that is what this year is now about. Weather, youth and nerves led to the 2 fumbled snaps. He'll get better. The Int he threw was poor on his part. Smith was covered and he should have thrown the ball away. But the 2nd half was much better for him. He had about 180 yards passing, threw some bullets into tight coverage for receptions, and gained confidence. Just wish his receivers did not drop as many passes today. Still, it was a growing experience for him and he will get better every week. I think we are lucky to win 5 games this season, but in the next couple years we are going to see this team develope nicely. My only question is: Who will be the Coach? It sure wont be Fox.

Who will it be? Probably Ron Meeks (who I'd be fine with), Bill Cowher, or some random assistant.

Who'd I like? Leslie Frazier (Vikes DC), Charlie Weis, or Hue Jackson (Oakland OC)

We should trade Smitty to Minnesota or San Diego or something. In all the times I've talked to him at birthday parties and stuff, he's been an incredibly nice guy and I don't want him to waste the last few years of his prime on a rebuilding team. Ship him out to a team with a chance at the title and get a pick or two in return to keep this rebuilding effort going.

Clausen is gonna be a bust. Its not his fault though, Carolina is a horrible situation. No protection, he got lit up what..5 times? if we don't get far better in that area Jimmy won't even make it through midseason. steve smith yelling at him on the sidelines...smith's overwhelming personality will easily intimidate Clausen. and the coaching from Fox and playcalling from Davidson is just horrrrrrrrible.

this team is in shambles.

The upcoming (at season's end) coaching change is precisely why Clausen wont be a bust. The O line problem will be solved once Otah gets back, so that is not my big concern. Just need Jimmy to get the reps with Smith, LaFell and the rest of his receiving corp. Our running backs are fine. The Defense is young after the bloodletting of the off season. Let them learn. This season is now all about our youth learning the game and playing together. Nothing more. No playoff aspirations.
