You don't wanna do that. Have you played the demo? Possibly the worst basketball game I have ever played. The 2K series is amazing, too bad EA had to put a monopoly on the football games, because NFL 2K5 was better than any Madden game ever made. 2K11 look to have made some major improvements on an already great game, so needless to say I can't wait for it.

I find the Bobcats to be one of the better teams because of the defense. The hard part is getting consistent scoring. Wallace is easy to score with. Tyrus Thomas is pretty good to. I love to run the pick and roll between Diaw and Thomas and throw the lob dunk. I can never seem to get Jackson going and don't get much from him compared to his rating. Nobody is great in the post. The best is probably Diaw.

i am a big fan of fnw, but i absolutely hate when news shows do this. when someone is promoting something let them promote it unless it is worked out before hand that there will be off-topic questions. and don't try to trap a bunch of nba players (who most likely support obama) with questions designed to either a. show they don't support his policies or b. will show that they don't really follow politics in general and are mindlessly following obama.

Picked it up today. Some things about the game still drive me crazy, like if you are a half step behind the three point line there is no way to take a half step and tow the line. If you push the movement stick you take a full step. Give it only the slightest nudge and you still take a full step. :facepalm:

The game speed feels a lot slower then last year. The soundtrack and the Jordan stuff are cool, but I was expecting a little more after that glowing ign review.

LOL, that's probably the most annoying in the whole game. and always have been in the previous 2k games. Teams trading their franchise players for garbage players or trading for player they don't even have need for. I remember I played an association where the Celtics had Rondo/Nash/Nelson/Felton at the point guard position.
I'm not a fan of Felton, but I don't think he's that bad to be a 4th string pg

I can't seem to beat anybody with a strong first step and on the other end I can't stay in front of the computer at all. They have Tyrus Thomas' shooting numbers way to low. Nazr doesn't get any love at all either. The player movement feels as fishy as ever.

Yeah TT's mid range should be higher, I can't knock down any of the baseline shots he always takes. As for the player movement, its different, but the more I play the more I like it. Its not rigid like in past games, it just takes some getting used to IMO.

I've only done My Player thus far (7th man off the bench for the New Jersey Nets, woooohoooo), and once you get used to it it's a lot easier. And really, the only things they need to work on are to lower the AI Defensive Intensity and the rate at which one dunks on everyone. No way Troy Murphy is dunking on Dwight Howard...

I thought that was pretty cool. Wasn't just a line or 2 either. They went back and forth on the name change for a good while, eventually deciding it'd be a good idea to change it to Flight.

In my franchise he signed with Sacramento along with Aaron Brooks so they have a lineup of Brooks, Evans, Melo, Landry, and a rookie. Funny thing is, as stacked a team as that is they are only a few games over .500.

I just finished my 2nd season. Beat the Celtics in 7, then got ass raped by the Heat. Didn't re-sign DJ (wanted waaaayy too much money), so I picked up a 38 year old Steve Nash. My plan is to sign Brandon Jennings next year (he's pissed off in Milwaukee).

I'm in an online league with the Bobcats. I'm 10-1 through 11 games, and G-Wall is going off on people. Also, I traded Stack Jack and Diaw to NJ for T-Will and T. Murphy and they are lighting it up. Murphy had 8 threes one game and T-Will is averaging 20 PPG. T2 is also deadly with his combo of mid-range jumpshot and crazy athleticism.

I started my Association last night after getting stuck on 6/10 Jordan Challenges and immediately blew the team up. Crash, Jack, Diaw, everybody but Tyrus was traded in hopes of tanking the season for young talent/picks. I ended up with Eric Gordon, Courtney Lee, Omri Casspi, Yi Jinlian, Marreese Speights, and Ronny Turiaf and 6 picks in the coming draft (3 firsts, 3 seconds) including the 2nd and 15th overall.

I made some draft day trades for Jason Thompson and Aaron Brooks and for a mega blockbuster, traded Gordon, Speights, and two picks for Kevin Durant because he "wasn't happy with the way the organization was going and was asking for a trade".

I drafted some absolute STUD SG rated 85 (I have no internet connection to my PS3 so I did auto-generate) with the second pick. He's TWill with a jumper--absolutely disgusting averaging 23/6/5/2! I used the others to get two Centers (since I had none on the roster) and got some diamond in the rough guys rated 73 (7 footer) and 71 (7'4'') and a project PG to replace Brooks eventually.

Seriously. It's still not even that hard. If you guys are having trouble with your Associations, blow that bitch up. You can always resign Crash after his contract expires since you'll have a ton of capspace by having young guys



Trade everybody for picks and whatever young talent you can get--targeting lower tier teams
Get draft scouts to look at players in important areas-PG/C and use high picks on either of those positions, otherwise draft the BPA and trade him (because his value will be high) for a player that fits your roster
Search around for teams with stars or good young players (or in my case, both) that are unhappy with their situation, and keep going back and forth until they find something they like
