I think he'll serve as a great back up to our forwards, from the film he looks alot better than i thought he was going to. But we will see how he does in camp.....

With a little motivation and some teaching from LB, he could easily provide some youth and lift to our 2nd unit. Which appears to be all about youth (minus Diop/Carroll/Najera)

Well LB has come right out and said he thinks highly of McGuire... At this point i am just glad there are still some BAD teams in the east to guarantee we wont finish DFL, unlike the panthers.

I don't see how he gets a lot of time unless Diaw either gets traded or spends a ton of time at center. Although, point center might not be a bad look for us.

Bonnell says the guy has one ugly jump shot. I really hate we give him a guarnteed contract. Camp invite yes but a gurnatee , no way.

Idk their have been alot of people who have had ugly jump shots who have done well (Noah, Marion, Prince ,Camby, chuck hayes, Brewer, Anothony mason, and last but not least the man Bill Cartwright) Form is something that isnt ness. to be successful i mean history proves it. I'm not saying that he will live up to any of these guys but it dont have to be pretty to go in the basket lol. I think he'll be a great role player to back b/c our forwards and he can jump out the gym plus he can pass and rebound and plays great D. I'd rather have him than grahm taking minutes away from our young ones...:)

Bonnell didn't say but implyed that jump shot wasn't going in either. If the jumper was falling his carer averages would be more than 1 or 2 points per game.

Well Dave I see your point BUT, look who was infront front of him on the depth chart ( MIke Miller, Jaminson, Butler, Blatche, oberto, Martin) i mean all of these guys have alot more experiance than our guy did at the time(2nd year)im not saying he will freaking start just be a nice role player on the squad, i knoww i would sure as hell like to see G.wall get some rest. How long do you think Wallace can keep up 40+ mins. a night without an injury. idk just a thought .........??

it's so sad we have to make a thread about this unknown random person. I wanted to have high hopes this year.

If whoever the F you are talking about plays the 2, I think I will punch a wall. How can we have whoever the f that is playing there?

Guys, Hendo isn't ready yet. If he isn't picking up the NBA game speed and the little things (like standing behind the 3pt line rather than in front of it), which is what LB and Bonnell have communicated to us, that means we have an Alex Smith (NFL reference) on our hands. He's brilliant off the court, but he just can't pick up the game of basketball. Smith is super smart, but he has no football IQ. Hendo seems to have all the athleticism in the world, but his IQ will keep him from being effective. UPS is our designated athletic freak, so Hendo will continue to ride the pine.

I like the guy, mainly for his bloodlines, but he's not cutting it so far. Maybe Jordan should've drafted James Johnson like he wanted to...
