Last year we had 20 BCP members compete in our fantasy basketball league. It's hosted on ESPN, and we would love to add more members. To keep things interesting this year, I've changed it from Rotisserie to Head to Head, based on total points. Also, I'll be setting up as a keeper league, with 5 total keepers for the next season. I've reactivated the league from last year, so the 20 teams still exist. I'm going to post them here, please let me know either in this thread or via PM if you'd like to continue. If I don't hear from you, then I may bump you for any newbies. Newbies, if you want to sign up, just send me your email address via PM and I'll send you an invite.

To be honest, I'd rather have less people--especially with a keeper league. If necessary, we could split it up into BCP 1 and BCP 2 with a random drawing to see who's on either side.

Why? The more teams, the harder it is to decide who to keep, who to draft in the first place and who to let go. With the H2H factor, I'm trying to get it as realistic as possible from a GM standpoint. I've got the teams split up into four divisions, but I'd like everyone to be in the same place.

Unless you wanted to do a NBA/NBA D-League type deal where the top half are in the "Upper" level and the bottom half are in the lower level, then a ceratin amount swaps places?

That's just a lot of people on there at the same time so some of the players towards the end of the bench are crappy. I think it'd be cool if it were split, sort of like Eastern and Western Conferences.

I haven't set the draft at all yet, it's just going by default, I don't think their servers have cleared the rosters yet either. Since there was some complaining about the draft time last year I want to have input from everyone beforehand.

Looking at it, I think it'd be in best interest just to start a brand new league. There seems to be a lot of guys who aren't active anymore, plus all the mess with the guys still on our teams and whatnot

Ok, note for all. Turns out Swedd's fears are assuaged, as ESPN limits you to 20 teams in any league. What I'm going to do, since there seems to be a few members from last year who are no longer around, is give all teams from last year a week to "re-sign", just simply by posting in here. After that, I'll start deleting the old teams and adding newbies, who will be added first-come, first-serve. I'll have a list of them in the original post.

You know this kind of thing wouldn't be an issue if everyone just operated on Eastern Standard(Daylight) Time.

You should be able to set a drafting order before Monday night. Then ESPN.com will draft for you based on your rankings. I assume it just takes the highest player on your draft board that's available, regardless of position, but I'm not entirely sure. Worth looking into if you're the draft conflicts with one of your other interests (like sleep).

Yeah, it'll take BPA based on how you rank them (it does a default ranking to start) with some sense of order taken, like you need a center, etc. it'll take one when it thinks it's ok to. And you and I think Schnitzel are the only overseas members, everyone else is on EST.

i change my lineup, i just have a WANK team because the draft started at 3am for me and finished about 5! So i didnt stay up for that... i got Iggy, Manu, Gw, Mcgee and marc gasol. Outisde of that my drafted team was appalling!!!!!!!!!!!! I mean half my draft picks didnt even play! I have made some shrewed pick ups recently tho, meeks (before his game v us) Earl Barron who is starting for the suns now will hopefully do well. Pryzybilla and tony allen back from injury.
