They're are f*cking retarded!!! They want us to GIVE them Gerald with no mention of any value we'd receive in return... When did we become the f'ing charity case of the NBA???
We apparently aren't interested unless we get Melo back, which is only sensible, but says he's not interested in signing an extension with us:

They should have pulled the trigger on the deal that was in place. They aren't going to get a better one.

Fuck Denver. and I also don't care about Melo anymore. He has the same bitch attitude like all other Superstars called LeBum, Bosh, CP3, etc. We don't need that. I'd rather keep the guys who want to stay and love playing for Charlotte.

Denver is looking for -- an established player, a young player, first-round picks, and cap relief
As an SU fan I LOVE 'Melo but he is the 4th best player in the league not a gold plated free pass to a title. Denver has their heads so far up their rear they are going to get SQUAT when he walks at the end of the year.
Of course I said it before, 1 last year of sell-out crowds with 'Melo is probably more valuable in real $$ then a bad trade over the next 2 - 4 years.

"Charlotte coach Larry Brown is said to be "freaking out" over his lack of a point guard"
I'm really getting sick of this bullshit...hes got the GUY HE DRAFTED over a future ALL STAR CENTER. Quit yer bitchin, PLEASE.

Worn out with it myself, to say the least. Ken Burg needs to get off the "moving players makes for interesting articles" bs. I can't even read it. "If the Bobcats agree to move Gerald Wallace and a pick for Johnny Dawkins expiring contract and a pick to be named late, then Carmello might get his wish of playing for the Monstars in this summer's sure-to-be blockbuster Space Jam 2. Michael Jordan's involvement would not be contingent upon the inclusion of Tayshaun Prince."
Get over it, "All-stars." You better get involved in the damn player's association before guys like Derrick Fisher (minimum salary) and Keeon Dooling are determining your damn future and you dont get a paycheck at all.

I co-sign on this shit too. Like Larry doesn't get involved in drafts only mid-season trades. Come on, everybody said it was Larry's pick, I think...
If anyone saw my tweets this morning you'd know why I'm so grumpy.

amen 100000x times. HE picked HIS point guard, named DJ Augustin over both Lopez brothers and now he starts complaining? Are you f****** kidding me? Instead of bitching around he should spend more time with him working on his game and try to make him the player he want him to be, and stop running to the FO and demanding trades for new point guards. You got your shit old man, now swallow it.

I am happy with the guys we have. I don't want any me first divas like Lebron, or Melo no matter how good they are. Melo is a punk ass bitch claiming he has never asked for a trade ect.... GTFO If Larry is wineing about the guys we have and demanding new players he can GTFO too.

He is an overrated player and all he does is take 100 shots to make 20. He is a talented offensive player but he is no franchise type talent. I think Crash is as good for what he brings our team. There is no way Carmelo is a franchise player. Most of his reputation is from what he did his lone season in college. Just what has he done in the NBA that warrants him being a Superstar? Is he a clutch player who can carry his team when they need him to? How successful has Denver been with Carmelo excluding the one season they made the Western Conference Finals? Seems to me Carmelo has had more talent to work with than LeBron when his team made the Finals.

I might would trade Crash for Billups/Nene. That addresses two needs and both of those guys are starters. Billups is also a great defender and a scoring option. Nene is a big upgrade over any center Charlotte has.
Edit: In fact, I'm positive I would do that trade. They've got a lot of options there. They could keep Diaw and start him at SF. So you'd have:
PG Billups
SG Jackson
SF Diaw
PF Thomas
C Nene
Or, they could start Henderson and bring Diaw in off the bench. Or, they could simply start Henderson and trade Diaw. They've got a ton of options there. Crash is an awesome player, but I think Jackson is very similar and one of the two is expendable.
If Utah is still interested in Diaw, then why not move Diaw for AK-47?
PG: Billups
SG: Jackson
SF: AK-47
PF: Thomas
C: Nene
Bench: Mohammed, Augustin, Henderson.
I think that is a very solid team.

Thing is with Billups/Nene, Billups probably doesn't have too much left in the tank. He's 34 (if I recall correctly, probably wrong). Means we'll trade for a good PG sure, but give up a guy who probably has 4 solid years left before he really starts to regress. Nene would give us the hard banger with solid post D. But it would probably be a no, unless they chuck in a 1st rounder or something to offset the fact that Billups is old.
Diaw for AK-47? You kidding me. AK-47 is overrated, and overpaid to the extreme.

I think turning Crash and Diaw into Billups, Nene, and AK47 would be a good value trade. But I don't think either team would do those trades.

So you are saying it would be a perfectly even trade?

Its simple dont trade crash, he is the onl person in the franchise who has superstar status, niether billups or Nene do, if you ask dumb people about the bobcats they will go " o the guys with Gerald Wallace" plus GW plays exctley the way LB loves so he isnt going anywhere

Get over yourself. I've made no mention of Diaw and don't try to imply things that aren't there.

People overrate Crash. Stephen Jackson would be an all star if you remove Crash off of this team.
The AK-47 trade would be fantastic because he's a quality player and he has an enormous expiring contract. Rent him out for a year and spend that cash on a quality player.
Billups would instantly be better than ANY PG the Bobcats have ever had. Nene would instantly be the best center the Bobcats have ever had. I think you have to do that trade if it ends up on the table. Not to mention that Billups and Nene are both Larry Brown types of players.
Also, can someone please explain to me why Diop doesn't play more? He was one of the best post defenders in the NBA at one point, yet he never gets any playing time.

You miss understand, you said AK was over paid and over rated and I said that made it an even trade, implying that I think Diaw is also over paid and over rated.
Less funny when I have to explain it...

It was explained to me (because i didn't know Diop from Adam before he came here) that he was a pure defender, clogging up the middle for his team and getting the ball back out to his team mates. Coach Brown has been working on getting him to shoot the ball and its throwing his whole game off.
