My Bobcats Season preview...

Nice write up BETCATS, i tried to post a comment on SLAM but it didn't like me i guess.


I don’t like that we have to play Orlando, Hotlanta and Miami 4 times, being in the toughest division in basketball handicaps us right now. But in the end Cleveland fell below us and I don’t feel that anyone has leapfrogged us so we are competing with the Knicks for the 6th seed, we take it with 41W-41L leaving the Knicks and the Bulls in the playoffs with sub .500 records.

I did set the bar a little higher than it should be. I really dont expect more than 42 wins, but so few people know anything about our team that i felt badmouthing this group by giving them less wins than last year would be a disservice to what we've acomplished as a team and as a fan base. I want people to see the good in the team, as they have plenty of fun laughing at us and seeing the bad. The optimisim wasnt an accident.

It was a very optimistic piece, but I think you made a pretty decent case for it. IMO it was very well written (you working on being a writer or something?).

:) So I should keep my prediction of 52 wins a secret? My logic is, they will play 10 games above .500 after New Years (they seem to figure things out around that time), the key this year (different from years past) is not digging a big hole during Nov & Dec. So if they can just play .500 ball in 2010, 50 wins is possible.

btw BETCATS, way to show the optimism, you'll have a great seat on the bandwagon when the others figure it out.
