(http://twitter.com/mikecranston1)#Bobcats (http://twitter.com/search?q=%23Bobcats) say Jack strained a tendon in his ankle. LB feared he had hurt his Achilles' when he planted. Jack sounded as if he'll play vs DAL

Hopefully Jack knows his body and there isn't the slightest muscle or tendon sprain. We need to be injury free with Jack and GW especially.

Com on!!! Please let this not be a serious injury. We have no one at the SG who's healthy but Carroll. Enough said.

If it's a minor injury, sit him out on wed and let him rest for the home opener. No need to rush things and make it worst.

Ugh! That's not cool. Any updates? I mean, shit, I predicted signficant injury to either Jack or Crash this season (it appears this isn't that bad, but still) but even I didn't see one of them going down before the season debut.

I hadn't really thought about that....But thats a good point. If Capt. Jack is out a couple games.....Who backs up Carroll?

DJ. Play Livingston and DJ together, or Hendo and DJ together.

Henderson has a bad hamstring right.... or he would already be the back for Capt. Jack

Well, only if he tells LB he cant go. Otherwise, I dont want to give up on game #1. We can beat them, but we need all our starters to play solid. And especially Jax.

Stephen Jackson update: He will be dressed and ready to go tonight. No swelling, no pain, no damage in the left ankle.
Wooo hooooo, now he can go back in the lineup of my fantasy game tonight (too bad for Plowman)

I deal with this alot on the Panthers Huddle site but I've never really understand how people can call themselves fans of a team and still say we are going to lose a game. I expect my Cats to win everygame. Even when Sam Vincent was coaching and they would get blown out. I always expected them to make a magical comeback. Sometimes they did and would fall just short. I think We have learned that every game counts in the East. If Capt. Jack can Brett Favre it , He needs to play atleast 20 mins

We need him healthy and playing against Dallas Wednesday night or we dont win that game.It would be nice to have a healthy Stephen Jackson for the game against the Mavericks but if there is a chance that a minor injury could become serious I would rather lose our first game and maybe even two or three games if it means having a healthy Jax for the long hall. Climbing out of an early three game hole is not that big of a deal but should Jax be rushed back when he is at risk of serious injury it could mean having to climb out of a much bigger hole. Besides all that, winning four straight preseason games does not a regular season fortell. A healthy Bobcats team hardly guarantees us getting a win against a really good mostly healthy Mavericks team on it's home court.
