Home Opener: Indiana Pacers at Charlotte Bobcats 10/29

Sounds like a ton of BCP people are going to be at the home opener on Friday night (http://www.bobcatsplanet.com/vb/showthread.php?11645-Who-will-be-at-TWC-on-Friday-Night).

It should be a fun night in the cable box. The Pacers are coming to town with Tarheel favorite Tyler Hansbrough.

Holding down the post for the Pacers will be the guy that we were praying to snag in the draft 2 years back instead of a 7 foot former BMX biker... Roy hibbert

If the Bobcats can keep him under control ( And I believe they can ) then they'll be on their way to getting a win tonight.

This will be a much tougher game than many expect. Collison, Hibbert and Granger make for a very nice trio around which to build a team. And if DJ had trouble with Kidd, I really worry about how he will do with Collison. This is a game which Charlotte really needs to win in order to get that good feeling back that they are a Playoff caliber team. Beat the teams they should beat, and pull off the occasional upset. TT can play the same strong game as Wednesday, but we need Crash, Jax and DJ to be much better than last game.

Exactly! Makes me wonder how many people actually watched the game he never guarded Kidd. Anyone know who did? By the way his man will continue to score if we don't learn to switch on the picks. I expect the same results DJ been getting against Collins since college a good game and a win for the Bobcats. Everybody needs to step it up on the defensive end. Let's hope granger doesn't go off like Dirk did on us. Can't wait for the game tonight.

That one hurt. Especially considering we blew a 7 pt lead entering the 4th. I hate the word choke, but...

I have decided to return to posting after lurk mode for at least the last 2 years (maybe just 1?). Anyways, being at the game last night I came away thinking "man, if that Chandler trade didn't go down, that is a W no question." When the Pacers made the run in the 4th it seemed like most every play that swung their way involved Diop. I have no idea why LB left him in to completely kill us. Granger doesn't make that 4 point play off the Diop foul and the momentum doesn't swing as hard as it did. There were other negatives to take away (Jackson in martyr mode) but the center position needs to be addressed now. I think Diop could possibly be the worst C in the Association.
