Losing last night against a really bad team felt sorta like this

Is there any chance that we can get a win against a really, REALLY good team tonight and get the stench of last night's game off of us?

Last season whenever the Cats had one of these games where the matchup looked hopeless, they always came out and played strong and in many cases got the win.

Gentlemen, what do you think we are going to see tonight?

Hopefully some energy and 10 or so less turnovers. So far the Cats have had a different leading scorer in each of the first 5 games, I'm not sure if that's good or bad but it probably ends tonight unless Nazr goes off.

For the real stat hounds..the Bobcats 2010-11 media guide online: http://www.nba.com/bobcats/1011_media_guide.html

The biggest story line tonight will probably be how DJ matches up vers Nelson. Felton's fate was sealed during the playoff series when he was outplayed by Nelson. It will be interesting to see how DJ does (and also interesting how LB decides to defend the inside out game of Orlando).

If the Magic have problems with their 3 point shooting tonight, and we protect the ball, we can win.

I see....pain for Bobcat fans. Unless we play our best game of the year, and Orlando plays a sub-par game, we dont win this one. Helps that Jameer is hurting, but that in and of itself is not enough to give Charlotte the edge.

Great effort. Loss hurts, but a great effort.

The only reason we are 1-5 is because Dominic McGuire and Kwame Brown are injured. Once they come back, the Bobcats will become contenders.

Larry Brown's alias: chrystos.

I only saw the last 4 minutes, but from what I can tell the pieces are finally coming together and chrystos may actually be semi-right, once we have better production from the backup center spot in Kwame and (don't flame me) once Dom is able to take over the crunch-time minutes UPS is playing, we'll be better. And losing by 3 to one of the few legit contenders in the league is respectable. Especially the way we keep starting off games.

An NBA team should NEVER score only 15 points in any quarter. That right there tells me that the offense is inept. The players have to bust their asses all game just to keep the team in the game because the Charlotte offense is so terrible.

Good game, fellas. Towards the end we were playing so poorly that I honestly didn't care if we lost. It's amazing how undervalued Jameer is as a leader on this team. Without him, the offense relies too heavily on hitting (often contested) outside shots.

It also frustrates me to see Dwight get it rolling, only to have him sit out a good portion of the night due to foul trouble. I knew Charlotte would make a comeback the moment he was hit with his 5th. And when the hell did Gerald get so deadly from beyond the arc? I was also looking through the boxscore and was kind of surprised to see that Jax shot 7-19. It seemed like he hit everything down the stretch.

To state the obvious, it's incredibly early in the season, so there's still a ton of time for you guys to bounce back and race past .500. Need to do something about that starting PF spot, though...

That obvious, huh? I know opposing teams love to see Diaw in the starting lineup w/ his weak ass. There is nothing "Power" about him, who the hell puts lotion on their hands before they handle a basketball???

lol. It's amazing. Boris had an awesome 1st season with you guys, but since then his game has been decaying. Is it his effort? Weight gain?
