For me, I've been pretty lucky. The most sever pain that I can think of is when I broke my thumb and then had it reset.
I'm sure you guys can top that.

Rinsing a nasty open wound on my palm with alcohol... it happened last friday (I'm typing this using only my left hand). Fun times. I know alcohol is a poor antiseptic, but it's the only thing that was handy at the moment (no pun intended).
The other painful experience I still remember vividly is having one of my teeth removed surgically under (strangely ineffective) local anesthesia. Mediaeval fun times.
Other than the two 'incidents' above, I've went fairly unscathed through life... so far.

A couple of summers ago I had surgery on my abdomen. The recovery from that was pretty painful. Then once I got better I went to play football and took a fall where I landed on my shoulder. That completely tore the two ligaments that hold the end of my collar bone to the rest of my shoulder. My vision got a little flashy for a while and I think I almost passed out, but I got up and drove myself home after about 15 minutes, so it couldn't have been that bad.

Braces, several hours after they were inserted in my mouth. All gone now though :).
Other one would be running head first into a steel pole following a ball with my eyes as i tried to catch it
My spine landing on a step after falling one story, that one hurt like a biatch.

Broke my femur...drunk, on the 50 yard line at homecoming a few years after i left GWU. buddy of mine tackled me out of absolutely nowhere. when the asshole EMT's decided to move me i screamed like a biach...there is video. after that it was downhill until it came time to leave the hospital. they basically mummified my whole hip/upper leg where they inserted the rod. some poor little nursing student had to pull the tape off. they didn't shave my ass/leg and it hurt a lot. the next week i was back in the hospital from a uti from the catheter in the country ass hospital. it was awesome...got upgraded to handicapped seats that whole season...first year we had season tickets and paid like $200 but sat where they probably cost $500 or something.

3 inch split in my noggin.
I remember that, swedd. Badass.
Most pain...uhhh....breaking my arm when I was 7, then going to the hospital and them taking three hours to finally decide, holy shit, this kid actually has a broken arm. They wouldn't do anything until then.

Had one 8 years ago. trust me, it's worth the pain. It costs almost a 1/4 million dollars to raise a kid from 0 to 18 ( not counting college ).
I have 2 kids, and I'm currently about 1/2 a kid over budget .

I have twin sons, they are 4 now. After my wife carried them to 37 weeks and had a C section to bring them into the world i figured it was my turn to step up and go under the knife to make sure we didn't have any more. Not fair to have her do it again.
The good news was I had 3 uninterrupted days of xbox 360 time!
