Alrighty then, we got the almighty 'Boshless' Raptors up tonight.
Really need a good win, hoping that Crash and Cpt. Jack are both clicking tonight.
Problem man: Bargy, averaging 19 ppg. Will be tough to face him for our Centers, most likely will have to go with either Diaw or Tyrus on him, I doubt Diop or Nazzy are able to stop him.
Key Weakness for the Raptors: Defense and rebounding. Bargnani is a crap rebounder, only the rebounding of Evans makes them a threat. Look for the Bobcats to crash the boards hard and hopefully pull some good second chance opportunities.
Key man: Bench. Hendo/TT/UPS will be the three headed monster off the bench. If LB plays them key minutes, look for TT to continue to produce, and hopefully Hendo can carry on from his last game. UPS looked set for a break out season, but hasn't shown much thus far.
Prediction: Bobcats win, 89-82

I think this games tells us a lot. If we lose this to the Bosh-less Raptors tonight, I think the season starts to drift away at a greater pace than it already is going. We need this win!
if we lose tonight the following things happen
1. panic trade for stupid contract like elton brand
or
2. larry splits in the next month and we blow up the team

Number two is appropriate, since it'd be shitty but ultimately satisfying.

Talk to DJ today it's his birthday. While all you guys scream and cry out and talk shit about defense etc. Larry brown only problem with him is not shooting. (Which he didn't do so well last game) He had a meeting with LB and was told that the center spot is at the top of his list for change. He only expects so much from Kwame Brown and a trade is on the horizon. They have put out a flyer on Jack and not a soul would bite. But in the end of the conversation quote "Everybody is on the trade block even me." A loss tonight will shake some things up. Anyway, hope my boy goes off for his b-day.
"Everybody is on the trade block even me."
Which is the problem. LB's not invested enough to work things out.
Thanks for the info, ballwhore, and I think that confirms what we've been wondering. I never thought I'd say this, but post more?
And we all hope DJ will go off. I've been pleasantly surprised with him so far, and a decent center would mask his defensive difficulties.

I agree with you guys on one thing for sure. I do feel that we are right on the verge of a panic trade.

I think they are in panic mode in Miami also with all the losing of their "Super Team" We might be able to trade Jax, Diop and a 2nd rounder for LBJ and Bosh - those 2 overpriced wanna be players they signed this off season! I bet those fans are more disappointed with Miami's 3 loses than we are with Charlotte's 6!

Thanks a lot for the insight ballwhore! So LB is happy with DJ so far? (If everyone is on the block then he cant be extatic) I rate what DJ has been doing so far.

Oh boy, a win!!! I like these things. Your boy done good again, ballwhore. He's really starting to come into his own. And yeah, the center is, along with Jack's iffy play, of most significant distress. I mean, when Boris is your best option at the 5, that says it all.
Don't know how I feel about the whole roster being on the block. Like teej brings up on the prior page, the Larry Uncertainty Principle makes me uneasy about any big moves while he's still here because he could (as I predicted in off-season) up and and leave in a month or so. That's bad news to see no interest in Jack, but I believe some of that is posturing by teams that do have interest, but we'll see.
Anyway, bad ass game by Ty knocking down clutch FTs and swatting anything coming down the middle, and some big baskets by Jack late, and the hungrier team won.
