Ok basketball fans, if you happen to live near Concord, NC or the Charlotte area and you want some fun FREE entertainment, come watch the Charlotte Jr. Rollin' Bobcats compete against teams from throughout the Southeast.
I'm the director of the tournament and one of the coaches for the Charlotte Teams. It's fun to watch, and the kids play 3 games (10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Saturday and 1 on Sunday (11:30 a.m.). So much for those NBA players complaining about a back-to-back 22 hours apart.
Games are at the Cabarrus Co Boys & Girls Club
247 Spring St NW
Concord, NC
The Bobcats' Rufus Lynx will be on hand Sunday from 11-noon (and we've requested Matt Carroll and Boris Diaw, but currently Larry has a practice planned....maybe it'll get cancelled).
Either way LiquidWayne, I'll pass along the strong desire to have UPS 'friend' you on facebook, or else he'll feel the wrath of a chair plant like this one.
btw..the girl in this video was a freshman at the time and will be going to college next year on a wheelchair basketball scholarship.
