Quick question about our last game: As far as heartbreaking losses go, where did Saturday night's game rank on the David Lee tip-in / Ray Allen buzzer beater scale? Curious to see where you guys rate it.

---

Tonight we have a chance to recover from that brutal loss with a match up against the very young Minnesota Timberwolves. Minnesota is 1-6 on the road, unfortunately we can't take much comfort in that stat because we are an abysmal 0-4 at home.

The match up of the night will be the two big time rebounding power forwards going head to head. In Kevin Love's last game he had 31 rebounds :o In Boris Diaw's last game he had... 2

Fellas, Do we finally get a home win tonight?

Ziggy...that Ray buzzer beater is always going to be the most crushing for me...we had a reasonable start to that season but that one in-bounds play told me that the Fine-Ham-Biscuit was not an NBA Head Coach...

Same here Ohara. Its one of those games where a loss could trigger some kind of panic trade.

D-Lee was the worst to me. Ray Allen just does that as part of his routine it seems, and D-Will's shot looked pretty well defended. But D-Lee's tip in was just ridiculous.

Yes...would be very risky (with our FO) to let this one get way...

Teej, you are right. Bernie could not have drawn up a worse defensive play if he tried. With 0.1 seconds left he put guards on the floor and had Raymond set up defensively outside of the 3 point line. A basketball novice knows 0.1 seconds is not enough time to catch and shoot. Thus you have to put your 5 tallest players and have them stand soccer-free-kick-style in front of the basket.
Ray and Deron earned their game winners by just being good. Bernie allowed DLee to get lucky to win the game. Bernie gave it away. It still kills me.

Terrific comeback. I thought this got away from us in the 4th, but a great rally!

I know that postgame discussion in the game threads have gone the way of the dodo since the gamechat has emerged (and that's fine) but just have to give a late shout-out to the folks in attendance last night. It wasn't packed by any means, but for a team winless at home taking on a ho-hum opponent on a Monday night, I was really impressed with the noise and excitement. I was moved from my 215 seats to center court 8th or so row back to start the 2nd half, and it's the first time I've been down there that everyone was standing, yes STANDING for the entirety of the comeback!!! Not only that, they were hooting and hollering, yelling profanity (as was I on the phantom 6th foul on GW), stomping, jumping up and down; it was just insane; and I was more bewildered by the Bobcats fan fervor than the fact our guys came back and won. I left the TWC more in awe of our crowd than the comeback of the fellas.

In closing, a massive tip o' the cap to everyone in attendance; you guys never lost faith, and damned if I'm starting to think the Cats have finally been embraced by the city....finally.
