Sean May signed a contract with Turkish Euroleague club Fenerbahçe Ülker. He will try to replace their injured center Gasper Vidmar. May is much shorter and defensively weak compared to him, so I wonder how he will perform. Anyway, I'm looking forward to finally see the guy everyone here mocks :D I'm curious is he really that fat :)

Article is in Turkish, simply says May signed with Fenerbahçe and will be in Turkey on Tuesday. You can refer to Sean May's twitter page, too.

There is so much unintentional comedy here.

That's why, Tamb.

A guy maligned for being fat his whole career playing in the one country that shares a name with food.

Tamburello,

It's not a dig at you or the country of Turkey at all...it's entirely aimed at May. This week in the US, most of us will gorge ourselves with food (traditionally Turkey) while watching football/visiting family on Thursday (thanksgiving). Sean McMay has shown early in his career that he's more adapt to excel at this:

than at basketball.

In all honesty, I did not feel offended. I simply don't find the jokes about Turkey funny, that's all :)
