If we lose to the New Jersey Nets tonight who are 2-8 on the road, riding a 2 game losing streak, who will be without an injured Devin Harris and will also be without the talented Terrence Williams who was sent down to the D-League because of behavioral issues then the outlook for our Bobcats this season is even worse than most of us are expecting.

There is no way that we should lose this game. Correct?

They're short Harris & TWill...so that's a negative (we play down...see Milwaukee game). Jax should be wanting to come in and "save the day" because of his suspension, which could be either positive or negative. Jordan should be in attendance to rip them a new arsehole at the half if they're not showing the effort, but you have to wonder when even that will stop working.

Who the hell knows anymore which team shows up.

Go Cats.

Signed, part of your dwindling fan base.

If they aren't 8-12 after Saturday, then there needs to be a major personnel move. Front office, coaching or roster, there is no excuse at all to lose either of the next two games. Although I fully expect to lose at least one.

They lose this one.... Larry has to go. Any coach who thinks Dominick McGuire deserves more than 33 seconds in any game has clearly lost his ability to judge talent. We wont lose to the Nets, But if we do Larry has to go.

Sam Vincent got 32 wins with a much less talented team. just saying.

Wow, Mustachio pulled out the "Sam Vincent Card"... He does have a very valid point though, Our current HOF Coach has the Cats on pace to win 27 games this season.

Mustachio is a brave brave man for mentioning the FHB. However I too am inclined to agree. I say we blow it up, and rebuild with a core of DJ, Hendo, UPS, TT, Nazzy and whatever expirings we can get.

Sort of like your parents making you apologize to the teacher for being an ass in class?

Dunno if I'd go with much less talented. I'd take that year's Ray over DJ (well, maybe not. but it's close), that J-Rich over this year's Jack, that Crash over this Crash, Mek over Diaw, and that Naz over this Naz. That Matt Carroll over this one, and Dudley, McInnis, Hollins wasn't much worse than Livingston, Henderson, UPS and Kwame.

This year's team might have more talent, but the "talent" difference is supposed to be in a suit...

Yeah, totally contrived. What's the point, they just look PC, not apologetic...

It'll look a lot better if Jack goes for another triple double tonight

ehhh. I score it like this.

This Dj over that Ray (no one can convince me that DJ/Liv isnt better than Ray/McInnis)
This Jack over that One Way J (jason richardson) at least Jack knows what the word defense means
Ill take any Crash over this Crash though. (seriously trade him while hes worth something)
Diaw and TT over anything we ran through power forward that year
and that Mek 1000% over this Naz

So its a 3-2 advantage and Liv, 2 Browns and Hendo over anything else that team had.

So I score it 4-2 2010.

Regardless, of the talent Larry Brown is supposed to be a Hall of Fame coach... I dont care what University he attended, if he cant win more than 30 games its time for him to go. The fact that he is even being mentioned in the same sentence and record as Fine Ham Biscuit is disgusting. I dont see any clear plan of action now, or for the future so whats the point in hanging onto a 70 year old coach eyeing retirement?

Not jumping ship yet, Larry can coach. In the words of the Bob Sagets voyueristic friend on Half Baked, "I SEEN IT!" But if we lose to the Nets and then to the Sixers then clearly we dont have the team or the coaching to play worth a damn so whats the point of keeping Larry around anymore. Time to go in a completely different direction if we dont go 2-0 this weekend.

I would almost rather have a good draft pick at this point. Trade Jackson, hope to get a strong pick and reload for next year.

This game is just sad! Just bad basketball being played by both teams. But a win is a win.

That was definitely a painful game to watch, but ....a win is great medication. Hopefully they rest well and beat Philly tomorrow night.

I'm not sure if we have more offensive rebounds or missed layups.

That was definitely a painful game to watch,

For real. How you can't break 34 in the first half is so far beyond me, and how you can blow the lead in regulation to a team that was terrible, wow.

But

A win is a win is a win.
