View Full Version : Charles Oakley Talks Bobcats on the Radio
So saw this tweet earlier.
Charles Oakley (@CharlesOakley34) on the radio? Sure. http://bit.ly/dPa00e (30 second ad prior to streaming)
After hearing @CharlesOakley34 speak about the changes that will come on the 'Cats, can't help but think overhauling the coaches was smart.

No bobcat has dared to get close enough to Charles Oakley for him to kill it with his bare hands. They smell the crazy.

I wonder if he talked about the time he open hand smacked Barkley to the ground during a labor negotiation.

See the 1:30 mark...European players are "soft", talks about going toe to toe with Shaq, how Stern is making the league soft, how to get 35 rebounds in a game and right at the end talking about how AI was still acting like a kid when NBA instituted the dress code about no jerseys/tshirts.

And he'll bring this kind of excitement (at least until the NBA refs T up our players) to the coaching staff...btw, the shorts they were wearing should've been a dress code violation.

And Boris and Oakley will be just fine after they start talking about cooking and eating

There's a direct link.
Pretty interesting stuff. They asked about him and Jax possibly clashing, changing the guard, when he and MJ first talked about the job, etc..

That was a great interview. Everytime he said something about not listening, being out of shape and not playing hard all i could think was....Oakley is going to kill Boris

"When we feel that attitude, we're going to correct it, no matter who that is."
Oakley is now my favorite person ever associated with the Bobcats.

Man, after listening to that interview, I'm genuinely concerned about Diaw. Wow.

I just listened to the interview. Players that are out of shape will probably be in for Hell... Hello Boris, Greetings Sherron.

After hearing this interview, it stands to reason that someone may die in Oak's "get in shape" philosophy. And I can guarantee it WILL NOT be Oakley.
Just listened to the interview. Charles Oakley means BUSINESS. I'm excited he's here. Love the part at the end when the broadcaster said, "We know you're going to try and turn things around down there," and Oak immediately replied, "Oh we are going to turn things down here." Love it, love it, love it.
And spectre, thanks for finding the interview, glad we got to hear it.

Charles Oakley seems like the type of person that could kill a bear with a paper back book. Maybe even a loose leaf notebook, eitherway Boris better watch out with his Winnie the Pooh soft play
