Tonight we face off against:
http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w301/bobcatsplanet/beasley_1on1_292_100811.jpg
Micheal Beasley who is averaging 21.8 ppg (after being GIVEN away by the Heat last summer )
Kevin Love ( who is averaging something crazy like 4,279.5 rebounds per game )
and of course 2nd year PG Ricky Rubio........ just kidding
We need this win after taking that beatdown by the Flying Lebron's on Monday night?
Can we make it happen on the road tonight?

I would like to think we could beat the Wolves, but I'm not too confident with Kwame starting, Wallace out and Thomas still nursing his injury. But when do the Bobcats do what we actually expect?

The Bobcats are a walking MASH Unit right now. As depleted as we are, this will be a very tough game.

Jackson out for Timberwolves game - Bonnell (http://blogs.charlotte.com/inside_the_nba/2011/01/jackson-out-for-timberwolves-game.html)
UPS most likely getting the start.
We are so going to get our asses kicked, and by the freaking T'wolves no less.

I would LOVE to see the young guys step up and play some good ball without Jax or Crash or in the lineup.
Anyone else feel the same way?
With Jack out, here is the lineup I want to see play the most: DJ/Liv/Matt/Boris/Tyrus. That gives us two shooters, a good point in Liv, and two post guys to combat the Love/beasley/Darko matchup. Too bad it won't happen...

I still can't believe we didn't get Beasley...

He's a game time decision as well.
Speaking of which...dude's starting to appear a little injury prone.

My gosh, without Nazr, Gana, and possibly TT also, I think Beasley and Love are going to have a scoring-fest tonight. Love might have a 30-30 night.
I don't think Tyrus, like Crash, has taken enough time off to get fully healthy. And if Ty is a no go, then DJ, Liv, Matt, UPS, and Boris...and pray we don't lose by thirty.

Boris Diaw will have a tripple double tonight... or go 4 -15...Its a coin flip

Jackson seems to have a lupine fetish...
In three games versus Minnesota since being acquired by Charlotte in November 2009, Jackson is averaging 32.0 points and shooting 59.0 percent—72.2 from 3-point range ( 13 of 18 ).
Here's to another boner!

Anyone else feel the same way? Absolutely, zig! I'm actually *gasp* excited about a Bobcats game!!! I don't even care about the end result, I just want to see guys busting their asses and showing the FO the "co-captains" are as highly expendable as I believe them to be.

Wow, that first half was FAR better than I expected. The offense was really flowing, Boris was hitting some shots and Kwame was a beast underneath. Let's hope a 14-point lead is enough.

Did not expect to win tonight with all that was missing. But TT being able to play was HUGE!

Silas post game comments: When we get these other guys back, if they play with the energy these guys did tonight we will be a very good team"
Also...DJ and Boris were our only starters playing tonight, each finished with 16 points, so our bench players gave us 76 points tonight....WOW.
Big win, good to see DJ pull out of a mini-slump during the same game, to build his confidence.
A couple of days of rest and we will see if we can stay within 30 points of the Wizards this Saturday.
Couple quick notes from that wild ass game:
Dom outshot Eddie outside Matt outshot DJ...wtf?
Only 4 bobcats attempted a three but all four made two threes each.
Matt Carroll outrebounded Liv, Dom, and UPS...wtf?
All 10 players who played tonight had at least three points at halftime
After having six points and 12 boards in the fist half Kwame finished with 8 & 14...
First double figure game for Eddie as a bobcat, and not sure but I think its the first time he's scored in game we've won...

That was a great effort by a severely depleted team last night, even if it was against Minnesota. Love and Beasley are both very good.
I was impressed with the play of Najera off the bench and Thomas was huge as mentioned...DJ too, at the end of regulation and in OT. Brown was really disappointing though. I'm beginning to wonder if his game will never be much more than what we see now.

Best game of the year. Goddamm did this beleagured Cats fan need this one. I'm painfully aware Jack will probably play Saturday, thus sucking the life out of the team again, but for one night at least, I was in Bobcats heaven: fist-pumping, hopping up and down, crestfallen with the Kevin Love 3 barrage, going nuts with the DJ to Tyrus "and one" alley in OT. Kwame, Eddie, Dom....WOW. Effort and teamwork on both ends: what a great retro Cats game!
