What do you guys think about him?

Is he the answer at PG?

Can he become a leader?

I would love to know what other Bobcats fans think of him.

I used to think of this but its almost like I've seen a new person with DJ since the coaching change. Not saying he's going to be Kevin Garnett as far as leadership goes but I like what Im seeing from DJ regarding leadership.

In my opinion, DJ has not the profile to become a real leader. Of course it depends on players he will have around him but I'm not sure that he will increase his leadership. But he already is a good player and will become a great one if he manages to find some regularity.

I'm happy with him as the starting PG of the Bobcats.

LB ruined him.

Although he's a bit smarter with the ball than he was in his rookie year, he's taken steps backwards across the board mentally. He is capable of staying in front of people when he wants to be - he just doesn't. He cheats off of guys nonstop and doesn't consider the whole floor when he's playing D. Offensively, he's way too hesitant. Can he take guys off the dribble? Hit that shot off the elbow with consistency? YES - but it doesn't matter because he rarely looks to do it. I think the only way that Jackson and Wallace work together on this team, is if DJ steps up, looks them both dead in the face, laugh, not pass either the ball, and shoot it himself - but thats never going to happen.

I think he can be a very, very good point guard. The new Mighty Mouse. But not anytime soon. The damage LB did to the kid is going to take a while to undo. He looks like he's a rookie again...
