I wonder what we could get for him. While he does have his moments I will let him go for a decent offer.

We should have let him go a few weeks ago when his stock was at the highest it's been in quite some time. I hope he can bring 15/6 a game for the next few games and maybe we can get something decent in return. He is soft, not very assertive, hates physicality, and is so up and down. Conversely, he can get hot and is a great 3-pt threat for a guy of his stature, great passer and can cause matchup headaches for opposing teams. I think he would thrive in a 6th man role on a deeper more talented team, rather than as a starter. He is depended on too much here and he is not able to deliver on a nightly basis at that level in my opinion. A team like Chicago, NYK or the Mavs would welcome Boris.

NYK would definatley be a place that he would succeed in. But would they trade for him? i dount it because of the Melo situation.
I would do J-Rich for Boris in a millisecond.
When is Tyrus due back? Because if we could deal Boris during the AS break then Tyrus should be ready to go right after that.

Mid-to late March at the earliest based off an interview with Stephanie Ready last week when he said he was still 6 weeks away.

The salaries probably wouldn't match-up, but would you send Boris to New York for Turiaf?
I just got this from Bill Ingram's chat at Hoopsworld...
Larry in Blowing Rock, NC:
Good morning Bill, the Bobcats faithful are hearing Wallace and Jackson are off the trade block but Diaw is on..any news on who might want him and what could Diaw (if traded) bring back to the 'Cats...thanks for the time...

Bill Ingram:
Well, the Bobcats have had Diaw on the block since this time last year, so I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm also hearing that they have backed off of talks regarding Gerald Wallace (HELLO!) and perhaps Stephen Jackson, as well. There is a great deal of interest in Jackson, but the Bobcats can't really afford to trade him if they want to make the playoffs.

I've got the distinct impression from his answer there is not much (if any) interest in Diaw...so unless we (FO) decides to change their collective minds about Crash or Jack it does not look like we are "trade players"....
