Ballwhore: Wassup with DJ? Is he just going through a tough stretch or what?

Do you guys think that it is just a coincidence that Crash is starting to play much better and DJ is playing much worse at the same time?

Well its kind of hard to have 3 guys scoring 20+...

I didnt know the only way to judge a players success was by how many points they were scoring. Thanks for that brilliant update.

I guess DJ's 3.9 assists per game and shooting 29% from the field this month are good numbers by your standards.

It's mandatory. I figure for this team to win, without stepping up their defense, Jack and Crash have to combine for 40-50 and somebody else has to have something close to 20. Perfect example is last night. Jax with 32, Crash with 16, Liv with 22. Boston, Jax 11, Wallace 19, Livingston with 18. You can go back through, I just don't think 4 guys with 15 is better than 3 guys with with 20ish each. It has to be Crash and Jax and then fill in the blank.

The eff is wrong with you? Wow, listen bro: I never said DJ was doing good so IDK what your trying to imply. All I said was that it's hard to have 3 guys consistently average 20 ppg unless you have a MIA big three. DJ-Jack-Gerald are not all going to get 20 everygame. DJ has to play better though. 4 points and 4 assists isn't going to cut it. Livingston has looked great and I have fully supported him and Silas' decision to let him play significant minutes especially as of late. So again, IDK why your trying to put words in my mouth. All I said was that when Gerald stepped up, DJ had to take a step down.

Thats exactly what you did to me in my original post, I said DJ wasnt playing great, and then you said its hard to have 3 guys score 20+ every game. DJ doesnt need to score 20 to have a good game, he can do plenty of other things to help this team.

I know that. But he isn't scoring 20 ppg right now and as much as I like DJ I dont know if he can have much of any impact at all if he doesn't score.

DJ has been playing with a sprained hand the last week in a half. Getting a second opinion as we speak might even be fractured.

that would certainly explain a lot. let's hope its not that bad and he can bounce back quickly.

Sprained hand? Left or right hand? That would certainly explain it. How did it happen?

Thanks for the info. Explains why he is having some trouble with his game right now. And why Silas was more than happy to keep Livingston in the game at crunch time when he was playiing well.

Im happy to give SLIV some extra minutes for now, especially if he plays like he has against New Jersey and Atlanta!

Forgive me if I'm clueless, but who is Ballwhore? How does he have such exclusive news? They just report DJ's injury, a day after Ballwhore.

He is an insider in the Augustin circle, and if he wants to add to that then he can. But he's legit.

You clearly take too long Jacking at the half.
