It looks like Kobe may be a gametime decison (http://www.bobcatsplanet.com/vb/showthread.php?12187-Kobe-a-GT-decision)

McBoris Diaw overslept, missed shoot around and will not be in the starting lineup tonight.
his loss from the starting lineup should evenly balance out Kobe potentially being missing from the lineup
I suspect that any day now, Charles Oakley may take the Boris situation into his own hands.
If Kobe is out tonight, this HAS to be a Bobcats win. We can't let this opportunity slip away.
I want Kobe to play, just because if we lose, it'll be a deserved loss, but if we win, it'll help the psyche of the team a lot more than without Kobe. Even if he's sick.
Liv and Najera need to show up bigtime.

I love when the Bobcats win, and I love when they beat teams like the Lakers. So, tonight all is well. I just wish we could also beat teams like the Nets. Onto Chicago we go.

It was soooo enjoyable talking smack the entire game with all the Laker wannabee fans around. Kobe played neck and neck with....that's right Gerald Henderson (despite the fact that Hendo doesn't even start). Heck it was so bad in the 3rd quarter that Kobe was calling for help on defense at the 3 point line, which forced Khloe Odom to come over and foul Hendo after Kobe was left standing flat footed.
Though to be fair to Hendo, Kobe took 20 shots from the field to get 20 points, Hendo took 9 shots from the field to get 18 points. :)
Very enjoyable game, Go Cats!

You guys have some serious hex on the Lakers.
And as a proud Gerald Wallace fantasy owner, I'm twice as happy for you!
We try our best...to beat crap out of them every time we play them...wish we'd do it to every team we played...LOL
If we played the Lakers 82 games a year, we'd beat 72-10.
Great game. Also, great atmosphere. The Laker bench showing up on the kiss cam and the 8-year-old killing the Single Ladies dance were awesome.

teej, if i didn't know from here, i would assume you go bananas for the free t-shirt gun then go to the concession stands during the game.

Lmao. Well, outside of Crash's two alley oop layups, and a few Hendo moments, the game was actually fairly mundane. And maybe you just had to be there, but the Lakers hiding from each other and the kid were the best timeout "shows" I've seen in the building.

In Teej's defense, the little girl was probably one of the best 'authentic' performers I've seen in 200ish Bobcat games I've attended. She had Beyonce's video down pat and seemed unimpressed that she was on the Jumbotron and 18K people were cheering for her.
The Kiss cam with the Lakers bench was funny because usually they will only occassionally get 2 refs, rarely the other team involved.
I still enjoyed watching the disgusted Laker fans cheering for their team to miss 2 free-throws in a row in the 4th quarter so they could win a free Pizza from Donatos. (they announced at the end of the 3rd qtr if the Lakers missed 2 free-throws in a row in the 4th quarter, everyone in attendance would win a free 1-topping small donatos pizza...pretty cool of them).

I've not been to nearly as many games as you but to me it was the best.

And not only that, but the bench noticed. And Steve Blake hiding behind Shannon was fucking great.

I'm still waiting for someone to brick both of them, I've been to 4 of the last 5 home games, they've run that special 3 times, not once has it been accomplished. I want free stuff dammit!

Here's something interesting:
Bobcats Use Length To Protect The Rim Against The Lakers (http://nbaplaybook.com/2011/02/15/bobcats-defend-the-paint-against-the-lakers/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+NBAPlaybook+%28NBA+Playbook%2 9)
The problem with the Lakers’ offense is that they were missing at the rim more than usual. Los Angeles is 6th in the NBA, shooting 66.9% on shots located at the rim. Against the Bobcats, that number dropped all the way to 50%, which would be worst in the league by far (the Bucks are worst in the league shooting 57% at the rim).
Forcing offenses into poor shooting at the rim seems to be the Bobcats’ identity on the defensive end. They are currently 4th in the NBA, holding teams to just 60.5% shooting at the rim.I thought our bigs sucked?
spectre...who said they sucked...one our fans?

Very enjoyable game, Go Cats! Right on! You'd think the Carolinas-area Lakers fan would get the point already...they can't win here. Oh, well. Like all of us, I take great enjoyment from watching the solemn faces of Lakers-clad folk when leaving the arena, or in this case, at the start of the 4th quarter. Also, the noticeable silence from the peons from the 1st to 4th quarters is funny as well. From yelling "Kobe" and "Gasol" as they shoot frikkin' free throws to some scattered applause when they get a rebound. Whether they know it or not, area Lakers fans are a great source of amusement; I'm just sad it's only an annual event.
And yeah, BP, I love how Jr. takes up the challenge when guarding Kobe. Last year he guarded the shit out of him; this year he did the same, but brought plenty of offense as well. I was ecstatic when he clapped his hands in Kobe's face when guarding him; sure, he knocked down the jumper, but he came back down and drew the foul on Kobe, and you could tell he was in his head a little bit.
Fun times!
EDIT: Insane stat, spectre. Never would've figured that and still don't know how it's possible. Whatever the case, it means we're challenging shots close and I'm liking that.
