He's gotten a couple dunks like that in recent games. I wanted Terrence Williams and I may or may not have been part of the "suicide pact" but Henderson has impressed me with his defense. He hustles every play and he finally seems to be playing worth his pick. I'm man enough to say when I'm wrong. Unlike the Lopez lovers.....

Agreed. I was also a fan of Terrance Williams, and not so much Henderson. He has really impressed me this season. I expected him to play pretty good defense, but he has been scoring pretty well too. At the very least he can be a very good bench player, and hopefully even more.

Was always keen on Henderson. Thought he possessed a great deal of potential. Also because he has a high BBIQ and comes from good BBall stock, so I was really happy to get him. Glad to see he's getting his shot, and playing very very well too!

Hendo's shown he can be productive and he has a lot of upside. Just remember what happened to DJ last season though. Maybe next season or the season after that give him the starting role, but I don't think hes there yet.

Still wish we'd taken Jrue with the pick, but I've been in love with Jr. the last month or so. His little tete a tete with Kobe was worth the price of admission alone. Like I said, still think Jrue would've been the better choice, but I'm loving what Jr. is bringing to the team right now, and am ***gasp*** optimistic about his role in the future.

I"ve always thought a lot about Henderson. He's got the tools and his intangibles are great. I love the way how Henderson got under Kobe's skin against the Lakers and I love how he aggressively takes it to the whole. That two handed dunk is his go to move.

Hmmmm... Kat weren't you the founder/creator/Jim Jones of that infamous suicide pact during the Hendo draft chat? :g:

I'll admit I wasn't a huge fan of Hendo coming into this season, mostly because he couldn't shoot and that's a pretty necessary skill for a shooting guard. But he obviously spent a lot of time in the gym this summer working on his J and it's paid off. He's nearly automatic from mid-range at this point, and since people have to respect his jump shot he's able to use his tremendous athleticism to get to the rim and finish as shown above. Add to that the fact that he's an above-average defender. I'd say that his transformation into a solid NBA player is now complete. If he could ever add the 3-pt. shot to his repertoire he'd have all the tools to become an all-star.
As for whether he's ready for prime time as a starter, he's shown the ability to make big shots and big plays under pressure so I'd say he is, but I'm still not in favor of pushing either GW or Jack out the door just for cap space.

He may have been, but it's still not as good as the asian porn pact, or Swedd's fuck me in the ass pact when the Nets got T-Will.
