It's Derrick Brown. Twitter might be as good as you're going to get. My advice is to go ahead and come to terms with it, UPS is SOL.

I am going to miss his dancing to be honest lol. Also at games I used to yell his name on occasion and he would always raise his first and give it a little pump. Who the hell is going to energize and pump our team up now that he and wallace are gone?

black...LOL...I"ll wait for a release...it may be true...but if not I'd feel foolish saying good-bye to a guy that's staying...

I remember when I was like 10 years old, going down to the court during shoot around to yell at the Hornets. Most of them ignored me and my friends, but George Zidek always looked at us and waived.

Literature with D. Brown. Liked the concept but only saw it once, the December game against Toronto. :(
Man, I remember when we fairly excited about his potential. Guess he never developed that jumpshot. Going miss him because he seemed like just a cool dude who loved to hoop. He was a poor man's Crash.

Derrick Brown was my favorite player on team. Seemed like a great teammate and locker room guy. Great work ethic but just never developed offensive awareness. He would just stand around waiting to get dunk tip or cut to dunk on somebody, just one of those players who made the highlight instead on consistent play. However saying all that I feel just as upset that we cut him as I am with Crash trade. Hope the best for Derrick Brown and that he turns into superstar and doo-doos on Bobcats, but we win those games!

As upset as I was when we drafted Jr., it was Brown that made that draft bearable. A personable chap who had the trappings of a versatile wing.......alas. Says a lot when you get no burn for either Larry or Paul. Either way, I appreciate him for getting me through the draft of '09, and, ironically, as he leaves, I am higher on Jr. than I ever thought I'd be. Whodathunk?

Read a report today that once UPS clears waivers he is going to be re-signed by the Bobcats.

Heat sign Derrick Brown? They have no roster spots unless they cut someone. He would get no run anyway. At least he would get run as backup 3 for Cats to show himself before a free agent this summer.

Would u rather sign with a team that has a great chance at a ring or sign with a team that you couldnt even get playing time over najera or mcguire??? Easy answer is Heat

Ill believe it when I see it. I had enough of the twitter speculation thing after the deadline. I really hope UPS comes back. He'll actually get some more time now.

If he returned to Bobcats he would be the backup small forward. nuff said. Playing time matters more to young players who are still trying to prove they belong in league. If he goes to the Heat he will not receive playing time and will be a free agent still not having proved anything. He will return to Cats
