So i was thinking, hypothetically would you rather the Bobcats reach the play offs and got swept in the 1st round like every bookey in the US would have odds on. Or would you rather us slip down past milawauke, nets and perhaps get a better lottery position? I know this draft isnt strong so perhaps it may not be worth it but its just a thought i had and i was curious to hear othe points of view

I would much rather make the playoffs and get swept. Its no fun at all being on the outside looking in when the playoffs roll around, so I'll take that even if means a 4-0 sweep.

Absolutely. But as long as the effort is there by the team, if we play hard and just miss out, I will certainly be proud of them.

both fair answers, would you be annoyed if we did slip down into the lower lottery

Playoffs. More national exposure and the opportunity to host (at least) two games against someone like Miami or Boston. Would be exciting for the team/area.

i have a feeling this could be fairly lob-sided haha
playoffs. always. unless we were assured of moving to top 3 in lottery which we aren't because we aren't the knicks (youtube patrick ewing lottery). so playoffs.

Make the playoffs, have the Hornets miss the playoffs. Best of both worlds.

Playoffs all the way. You play to win games.

Playoffs definitely. As long as the team is trying to win I'll be happy.

Playoffs 100%. Even going and getting swept shows your players, fans and the rest of the world that you have certain expectations. I think it also goes a long, long way as to what quality of free agents you can get to come in also. Again, playoffs without question!

Playoffs, duh. In all seriousness, i would've been happy if the FO made a few tweaks to our roster here and there, in particular at C, PF.

Yup.....that would be so sick. And then the Hornets pick ends up being like #8 or something(As high as it can go without being taken away due to top 7 protection or whatever it is.) :D
Playoffs. No question. If only to give MJ and the team better pub, and because with Silas, you never know what can happen.

For me it depends on how low in the lottery we would be. If you could guarantee me a top 5 pick, I would take that, but since that obviously isnt possible, I would choose Playoffs.
Besides, we could probably package our pick and the Hornets pick for a good pick even if we make the playoffs.

Playoffs, our pick will be in the teens regardless, might as well get some national recognition by playing Heat in first round
