Hmmmm..... interesting. I really hope we aren't bringing T2 back too early from his injury. I want the playoffs, but I would rather have a healthier Thomas for years to come than him re-injuring it for a one-and-done playoff run. I'm no doctor, so who am I to question the decision I guess, but it seems earlier than originally thought.

yeah, bringing Roy back too early is what got him where he's at now with the same injury.

Wow, I had just entered "acceptance" phase in terms of us not making the playoffs, and now this news. If both those guys are back and can be effective we've still got a realistic shot. I too hope they're both adequately healed though, especially since Stephanie said there was no timetable for Jack's return as recently as last night.

'Playing' does not mean 'significant minutes', test the water see how they feel.

It's funny, after last night's loss, I went to bed content with not making the playoffs for the first time this year. Not that I've shut the door on it, but the anger of not making it was replaced with potential in the future with the draft, new direction of the team, adios to doris, etc. And then this comes about and reeks of pushing the panic button of trying to eek into the playoffs. I'd prefer to run Cunningham, DJ White and the young guns out for the last 20 games (with full effort, not tanking) and give them the experience. I just don't want T2 to cause any long-term damage to his health, that's really my biggest concern.

Tyrus looked fine last night before the game. Seemed to be moving pretty well.

Well lets see, hope there not forcing Tyrus back before he's ready.

Remember Tyrus was actually supposed to be back already, it was a 6 weeks thing, but they later pushed back the target date. He's not the one I'm worried about.

I do wonder if Jack is ready to come back right now, but if there's any shot at the playoffs, he's taking it. Thankfully, Indy sucks as bad as we do.

Nope.

You have more vitriol for this team in your head than you do hair on your beard.

Which is nigh impossible to fathom.

Which is nigh impossible to fathom. LOL. Wish I could disagree. There's no other team I'd pull for at this point in my life. But depending on how things go the next year or so, I could easily see myself clean from professional basketball. Then again, maybe I just need an offseason and work stoppage to help cool off. Either way, you are correct, sir; I think I'm even sweating vitriol at this point!

According to Mike Cranston's tweet a little while ago, Thomas is a no-go for tonight's game. He's feeling soreness after this morning's shootaround. No word on Jack.

yeah, bonnel is reorting the same. he won't go. and jack said he'll decide gametime... full-on tank mode.

Jackson is out, Pryzbilla might be too:

So with #Bobcats without Jack and Thomas, enter C Joel Przybilla. Silas says his knee is "hurting a lot" and may not play tonight.

what would it take to get the beagle back on board? A good draft in a few months would go a long long ways, chef. I'll admit I've washed my hands of this season: I just don't have a connection at all with this team. Hell, even with GW pre-Silas, I loathed this team. And being hoodwinked by the team into re-upping season tickets for a discount right before the trade deadline feels like I got bitch slapped more than a little.

But yeah, a good draft will help. I just need some guys to pull for again because the current roster is deficient of any. I mean, the fact some/most of the fanbase is excited that Jack and Thomas are coming back makes me laugh so I won't cry.

Not even Hendo and DJ2?

I'm even done with the cats at the moment. If they draft/trade well this off season they might get me back. I'm going to 1 game this season, vs the knicks shortly, because my wife (and kinda me) are big knicks fans (even when they had cry-bury and i-shita- thomas).

Not even Hendo and DJ2? I don't know, teej. I see the potential there in Jr. and am glad he's having more good games than bad since Paul's back in town but he's still just sort of a bland player with very little star power. However, I'll give him the circus shot tonight on the drive against Rose and the flip reverse....that was sweet. With Tyrus, DJ2 is superfluous; both are 4s that prefer the elbow jumper instead of getting dirty inside. That said, with the salary involved, I'd take DJ2 over Tyrus any and every day but nobody's taking that contract any time soon.

Oh, I forgot about Eddie. I like me some Eddie.

I don't know, I think once he is able to shed his Duke image, Hendo is a lot more likeable. He seems like a pretty fun-loving guy in all the videos I've seen, just concerned with his image. I know this comparison has been made before and it's a bad one as far as ability, but he seems to have Kobe's persona. I'll take that 10 times out of 10.

I think with some time around Oak, DJ2 would be willing to bang a bit more. He's got that type of body, and he's a good rebounder. We'll see. I think he and Ty could play well together.

Eddie is a great guy, not talented but he works his ass off. I'll respect that 100% over someone like Boris, who's the reverse.

hendo is the only player i am mildly intrigued with on this team. i still think his ceiling is the worst starter on a really good team or better yet a super 6 man/matchup starter. i am very pleased with the development he has shown this year. it also goes to show how out of touch larry brown has become. dj2 i see as a very solid role player and am actually happy with getting him in the nazr deal.
