So I got banned from the Pacers forums for criticizing Pacer fans for not being loyal and it could be the death of our playoff run when Cpt. Jack gets healthy or Brandon Jennings decides to show up. Am I wrong for mentioning valuable points to a playoff defense?

don't think you have to worry about us. we are playing terrible ball right now with or without jack. i would worry about the bucks more at this point. pacer fans are pretty loyal, they got burned by the artest mele. that was a championship caliber team that got blown to hell because of "thuggish" behavior. it has taken many years and frustrating roster moves to rid themselves of that stink.

If you guys beat the Bobcats on Wednesday night, then you have absolutely nothing to worry about from us for the remainder of the season.

On a side note, whenever I see Danny Granger's image I cringe because we drafted McMay over him.

Haha it'll be okay Danger.
I myself am planning to either troll the crap out of the RealGM Raptors board by making a Hendo > DeRozan thread and seeing how angry those Canadians get.

If they ban you for you having legit concerns, then obviously wasn't a good community in the first place.

Do you guys think they'll shut down Jack and whoever else if the Bobcats lose to the Pacers?

Ziggy, do we have any good banning stories here?

i think they might shut down jax if we lose to the pacers. I think our challenge would pretty much be over if we lost to them anyway

I think that'd be the way to go. Being really 4 games out (including tie-breaker) with 12 to play isn't impossible, but quite a hill to climb. And considering Jack said he was running out there at 60 percent max, if he's really going to heal it, a hamstring would take sitting closer to two weeks, I believe. He wouldn't be doing himself or the Bobcats a favor by trotting out there like that if they were that far out of contention.

Not really a banning story, but one of the more interesting stories that not many know about is the one where a ladycat registers, then discovers pics of herself on the site with lewd comments... Ladycat then goes coocoo for coco puffs ballistic and curses the male species promising to never set foot on this site of ill repute again.

The really ironic part? All those pics were taken in a public forum (I think).

Wonder what the hell she thought the guys were saying then? Nice shoes?

Speaking of, in the games I've gone to, I haven't seen her (though I'm probably too preoccupied with Lacey). Anyone else know if she's still on the team?

I think they were all from her (then public) facebook wall.
If she thinks guys were looking at those pics and admiring her great personality then she has no idea how a guy's mind really works.

Depends. Do they want to go on a winning streak and have a team playing good team ball? (No, the Jack hate won't stop, kids) :p

As for the banning, if you were confrontational and really questioning other members' loyalty, that's pretty gauche. And if you were a bit of a noob on the site, that makes it even worse. Still, warning before banning, I think. Likely wasn't a good site (and as as Astros fan, I know plenty about that).

And as for the Ladycat who will never be named, I've seen her a few times this season, but after what went down here, I could care less if she isn't back next year.

I recieved a couple of infractions because I made bold, but true statements, towards administrators about some of the players efforts. For example our piss poor game in Minnesota, if any of you guys have NBA LP you know what I'm talking about. But they just have the power that if a member makes them look stupid, they create some excuse to make you look as if you were out of line.

It's their playground, so you have to play by their rules. One of the good things here at BCP is your are free to speak your mind as long as you don't make the attacks personal. People are entitled to their opinion, and the Admins & Moderators here have a good track record of respecting differing opinions. My suggestion would be, especially among heated arguments of passionate basketball fans, to let the offending party (especially if it's a person in authority) continue to spew their opinions and prove Mark Twain's quote correct

"Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."

Sounds like there is a lot of sensitivity in the Pacers forum then.

They are seriously the most sensitive threaders ever and it's really annoying. I just like being on the forums, and considering the rivalry currently with the Cats and Pacers I know this must be odd lol, but it's all good with me if it's cool with everyone else.

Fine by me. This forum is about as sensitive as R. Lee Ermey's counseling service.

I'll be there don't worry. I may not post though lol. I see confrontation possibly rising. Go PACERS! Best of luck to you guys.
