I've always liked Kwame and believe he's unfairly criticized in general and also on this board. Sure he's got bad hands and doesn't have the highest BBIQ but he really is a solid player in the league. He's got a big frame and can hold his own in the low post and has an underrated offensive game. Kwame's biggest flaw imo is that his confidence was irreversibly killed by the pressure of being the number #1 draft pick and having to play for such a demanding boss in Washington (MJ). I think he struggles with an identity now (think about Perkins defensive leader identity with the Celtics) and playing with the right team could really help him improve.

I'm curious if anybody throws a decent sized deal at him this summer (or whenever the lockout is over). He's a solid center on a fringe playoff team and an excellent backup on a contender. If I'm Miami or Orlando Im trying to get him this offseason. He'd be a great fit in Miami imo because he can gain some confidence playing with 3 All-Stars. I think he could get a little swag with playing with those guys.

Keeping him after the new CBA is in place may be tough. He has played well enough that at least one team will probably be willing to give him a three year contract at 2-3 million per year. Not sure if Michael will want to try and beat that even though I consider that a good deal for his production.

The one factor that Kwame brings that i like the most about him is HUSTLE. You can tell the guy really gives a shit, therefore kwame is doing just fine in my book.

That...and he can fill up a doorway in a hurry. He's far and away our biggest player (while the TVG is resting his knees)

Im a a huge fan of the KWAMMEGEDON! of this year... the dub dub's etc...
But that is what i think is he lacks the most is the hustle and really the love for the game TO HUSTLE.
but i guess i could see where you see his hustle (maybe) but i could see hustle in alexis Ajinca if i looked for it...

I doubt we can pick (Euro bigs are always iffy) a center any better from the draft...I'd like to have him back at a reasonable price...2-2 at 2-3 for a back-up 5 works for me...

I am guessing he is gone after this year. Some GM is going to be saying to himself "why the hell did the bobcats make the playoffs" Kawme gets the mid level and becomes the next diop.

Plus he his going to have one great game in the playoffs followed by the announcer yelling "Jordon is looking like a genius now"

IMO Kwame getting over-paid depends on the new CBA...if we get a much lower cap or certainly if we get a hard cap I doubt that happens...
