I searched for the old black out bitching thread but couldn't find it.

I don't want to go through another season of helplessly watching a choppy 320x240 stream of our local market basketball team. We have to start causing a ruckus about this early enough where some one can come up with a solution. I already sent the usual emails complaining to Dish and DirectTV. I also sent an email to the NBA and the Bobcats asking them to extend the local market to all of the home state, let us pay for NBA League Pass to see the Bobcats or setup an official high-quality stream for people with television companies that won't pay the fee. I intend to send these emails at least once a week until I get an answer that I like.

I'm not much of a social network guy but getting Facebook groups and twitter trends involved could help too.

Here are some links to send emails to.

Can you forward to me the email you sent out?

I'm sure it is much more cleverly worded than what I can come up with.

Ditto. I'm way past the thinking that any effort will amount to anything...but what the hell.

The organization needs to get a good TV package in place. There's no way this team gains popularity unless people outside Charlotte can watch them.
