From Mike Cranston, this does illustrate what isn't actually a surprise, it's just how much it still sticks in everyone's collective craw is what's eye-opening to me.

I remember the first year LB was here, he talked about how our team was worst than the 76ers team that had the worst record ever. Freaken pissed me off. We had just won 32 games with Vincent as our coach and it was like Brown was mailing it in before his first season even started.

He reallly is an ass. I don't care if he won 1000 games, he aint a Hall of Famer at all.

Not suprised, is anyone? LB was obviously annoyed about our off season, he said as much. He actual said everything jack said about not being a play off team. You just have to read between the lines of what he said

Its how he is unfortunately. Even if he didn't think the team was good, he shouldn't have been telling his players that. Around the guys you stress positive reinforcement, and when you're at home you complain all you want. But tell Jackson straight up they sucked? Stupid move. He's a teacher of the game, and a great one, but things gotta be his way.

Nothing new...LB was a very "known" quantity before he came here...I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised by his "motivational techniques" ...
