I'm watching the Bulls game and just had this thought pop into my head.

If you had your pick, would you rather have Joakim Noah and his fantastic defense or Zach Randolph and his automatic low-post offense?

For one season? Z-Bo.

For the future? Noah.

Noah, i rate a decent centre as more important than a pf. As talented as Zach is, he is quite one dimensional and slow. The only thing is his 1 dimension is immense...

I can't wait for the potential of them on Youtube if they are ever on the same team....not for basketball for the karaoke/lip synching as Bob Marley and Biggie Smalls.

I would take Noah every time. I think the most important thing for any big is the ability to protect the rim.

A lot of you weren't around a few years ago, but during the draft that year Noah was still on the board at the Bobcats' pick and most of the mocks had him coming here. But around here at BCP 90% of us were horrified at the thought of drafting Noah, thinking that he had bust written all over him. The view was that he got by in college on pure energy and not much skill... And of course that wouldn't work for him in the NBA

I guess we were a tad bit erroneous

Instead we drafted Brandon Wright which became J-Rich which become Boris and Raja who eventually became Jax.

If I remember right Jordan said that if we had made the pick for ourselves he would have taken Noah.

As much as we bust on him (me in particular) Jordan's "might have been" draft picks were all pretty good choices. He wanted to trade Crash and the 9th for Westbrook (think it was something like that) and I was all pissed off about it. Today that don't look so bad.
