Just thought i would create a poll for the 19th pick as we already have one for the 9th. I think if Hamilton i there you have to take him. I know some of these players would be gone before 19 but im just interested to see who people would pick if they were ALL available. If it is for someone who goes 15-16 is it work packaging our second rounder to move up?

Halmilton = not much chance hes around
K Thompson = not a player i prefer , But could live with
K Faired= No offenece . Im thinking a less gifted White 9TH 10 th off the beanch
R Jackson = Should still be on the board at 39th considering his shape at the combine.
T Harris = Seems compleate , Size , scoring , skill , defence , up side.
N Vucucic= If around could be a good pick . Hes a gamble pick . I don't know his game enough
Singleton = Love the pick if around , Can play both sides of the ball and you know what you getting. But likely gone as well.
J Tylor seems unoticed one draft board has him as high as 4th . Others have him in the 2nd round . A very nice specemend with ton of up side. And not much downside.
Honeycutt is another solid player thet could be considered . Depending whos gone .

We have to take the best player at his position at nine . If we can get that . Holes. are at ever position. Burks is my clear choice at nine unless Kanter falls even more. . Halmilton would be perfect at 19th he just has to fall that far.

Hamilton is starting to rise again and will be long gone. The man who is now rising and will be in serious play at #19 is Vucevic from Southern Cal. Big Center, solid inside game, and was very impressive at the Chicago Pre-Draft Combine. If we dont go with a Big at #9, I think Vucevic is going to be given serious consideration.

I'm impressed with how knowledgeable everyone is. Sure, people may value certain players differently, but I really haven't come across any posts that are way off base. I feel like as a fan base, we have good, realistic expectations for what we should come out of this draft with. We have a very legitimate opportunity to improve this team and be a contender to make the playoffs and make a run in the next few years. If Higgins/MJ dissapoint, well, that will be dissapointing.

We can hop can't we... he is still at like a net 17 on the bobcats net mock draft.

I see. I misinterpreted the Poll. It says "who do we select", not "who do you want". I thought it was more of a prediction Poll on who we think we will end up selecting, not a vote on who we would like to see chosen. Can you see what I am saying and how I came to this conclusion?

I went Singleton since I expect to go offense with #9 and Burks...better "D" with Singleton and he has "some" "O" that needs to be "coached" up...but I have serious doubts that he or Hamilton are at #19...

Agreed BRNC. Singleton is already up to #10 on the ESPN Big Board and rising. Likely to see him supplant Kemba Walker in the Top 8 within a week or so.

Tobias Harris............go Vols

This kid is a good prospect. He has polished skills and a very mature game for such a young player. Most importantly he has a good head on his shoulders and a super work ethic. This isn't a guy we have to worry about making any bone head moves or getting lazy once he gets paid.

Last season he was the most consistent player on an inconsistent team as a freshman. His numbers are solid and even more impressive when you consider Tennessee played the hardest schedule in the country last year. He was only only in school one year so he is super young as well. Really he wouldn't be a bad pick even at 9, or at least that is my prediction after the dust settles down the road.

Harris gets my second vote. Yer i see where your coming from, i just wanted to get an idea of who people wanted more than who we think we will take if you get me

With the 19th pick, the Charlotte Bobcats select Josh Selby of Kansas.

Is Josh Selby too much of a gamble at #19 ? He seems to be a solid point guard with great defensive skills.

selby is a 6 1 shooting guard. I actually like him but we dont need another undersized guard (DJ)

I dont think Hamilton or Singleton falls to 19. Chad Ford is stated in chat earlier today that Bobcats are looking at Singleton at #9, which would actually be a great pick. He can defend anything and is much better scorer because FSU offense is slow and holds ball to last second. He is great teammate and is something that Bobcats need. He can be groomed under Jax for another year or two then blossom

With the 19th pick I think we package the pick and Najera (who will be bought out) to the Grizz for OJ Mayo. They have no first rd picks and I think they will take that and still save money. Maybe we take there 2 nd rd or a future protected first. If no trade I go with Marshon Brooks with the #19 pick. #9 Singletary, #19 Marshon Brooks, #39 Keith Benson

mr. tar heel, while i disagree that the grizzlies would accept that trade i do agree with your picks. singleton at 9 would be the best pick we could do for our team, and we should do it. Draft Express and NBAdraft.net have the comine testing and he rates as a superb athlete. Marshon Brooks is said to be best scorer in draft (him and J-Ham) and his length is ridiculous and helps solve our wing depth. At 39 we get Benson if he falls, he is good center who has potential, if he is not there look at Jeremy Tyler (people should read his story and how his parents are basically pimped him out)
