I am new here. I am a life long Charlotte Bobcat, Carolina Panther, and Duke sports fan. The bad thing is, aside from Duke hoops, I seldom have much to cheer about haha. I am a true fan so I love to support these teams year after year.

I looked and did not see a thread about this. I love playing the Association mode of NBA 2k11. It is indept and so realistic. In this mode, you can not only set up a season to play, you can manage your roster, make trades, balance cap space, juggle picks, develop current players, and scout prospects. All of this has to be done while maintaining team chemistry and keeping players content with the roles in which you need them to fill. This gives someone with a love of every aspect of professional basketball something to be excited about.

Anybody else started an association? If so what team did you pick? Give us all of the details.

Thanks and look forward to hearing from everyone.

I'm in my 10th year playing with the Bobcats. I've won five titles, and Brandon Jennings is my franchise player (he becomes a beast if you develop him). Tyrus Thomas developed into a consistent starter, and I have Kemba Walker coming off the bench a la Jason Terry 2.0. Its an addicted mode for sure.

Not alot you can do with bobcats as trade value is low... best bet is to play the season out... try trade ur pick for a worser team ( if u think u are going to do well in league) such as sacramento phoenix or cleveland then draft well... i tend to draft a godo player then trade him for someone young already in nba as i dont know too much about college bball!

I have a current roster with cp3 jr smith wallace tyrus and m.gasol... Ok jr smith may not be everyones choice but on this game... easy 3 pointer amazing dunks just a beast!!!

i tend to play 3/4 seasons and re build bobcats going down different routes... trade finder is good but u always get a rubbish deal so always ask for next years 1st round pick or something just to give you something to bargain with later!!

gamertag: Syds273 if anyone fancies a game

I've been playing my brother in one of late, we're not quite 20 seasons in, and I've got 6 rings, 5 were consecutive. I pretty much blew up the team, and using the 2k-built rookies had the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 roty's, the first was a PG who just retired with 8 MVPs, 13 ASGs, 6 rings and almost 24ppg.

I think if you go to the Draft Class section of the game there is an option to download draft classes. Also when you start a franchise it will ask if you want to generate, create, or download a draft class. Click download and a bunch of options will pop up. Right now there is a current one that is pretty on par with appearances and skills. Look under most downloaded or highest rated and check the date of when it was created.
