Figure we might ought to start this one up. In ESPN Magazine, they do a Lottery Mock with picks by players on the teams. Hendo picked for Charlotte and went with Chris Singleton. And today Ryen Rusillo had Chad Ford on his show and they went over the Lottery. Ryen said the talk the last week has been about Marcus Morris. Chad said in talking with Bobcat scouts, they all seem very high on Chris Singleton. Love his defense and think his offense is better than given credit and will improve.

I just don't know if he has enough offense to go at 9, he has so much defense it would be worth the risk I think and a lot better than taking a Morris.

Right now, he's #9 on the ESPN Big Board. Klay Thompson is #10 and Burks is #13. Twin#1 is down to #17. Heck, we night get him at #19 if he falls like this.

I wouldn't have a problem with Chris at 9. Fantastic defender which would probably be great for us since we have Jack also at the 3 who isnt the best defender.

Bonnell saying if we want him, it will have to be at #9. Honestly, I think he might be exactly wh this team needs at #9. I love Klay Thompson, but Singleton can guard 2's, 3's and 4's. That is a huge asset. He will get a pretty good amount of PT as a Rookie, and his scoring ability is improving. I think of the teams that win NBA Titles, and they all have great defenses. I think that taking Singleton will add to a good young core of defenders we have, and that cant be bad. Take a scorer or Big at #19.

Singleton+Brooks? Singleton+Thompson(if he dropped somehow)? Singleton+Hamilton?
To be honest...if Biyombo is dropping to our 2nd pick take offense at 9 and go Biyombo at 19.

These are all my dream scenarios combined into one post.
Andy Katz:
"• Florida State’s Chris Singleton has moved into a strong position for Charlotte at No. 9. There is a pull here with multiple connections to Leonard Hamilton, the Florida State coach, whom Michael Jordan once hired to run the Washington Wizards. "

I guess I wouldn't be upset at the pick at #9.
Better than Morris, better than Bismack, but only if Kawhi and Kemba are gone.

No, not Kemba.
Kawhi and Bismack are the guys ahead of Singleton. We have no need for Kemba.
You really think DJ is the answer?
Because I don't.

I think Kemba will be better than DJ, but not by much. Not worth picking him now. I'd much rather have a point like Kendall Marshall or Myck Kabongo than DJ or Kemba.
Singleton is behind Kawhi, Burks and Klay, Ahead of Marcus.
