Stephen Jackson is out and Magette in as a bobcat. Thoughts?

needed to be done, although my overall opinion of jax has changed for the better considerably. if we were a veteran team competing for title, i would go to war with him anyday.
i am more interested if you have any insight thorough your "anonymous" sources how he and others are taking it.

Why no updates bw? You usually break these things man!
I look at it as a push, or leaning towards a good move in our favor as far as just Mags and Jack. When you bring into account the whole deal (Jack, Liv, 19 for 7) we won out of all 3 teams. Almost equal salary, Maggette better % shooter, and will probably end up being the 6th man and provide scoring we need off the bench, he's younger with same amount of years on contract. We win.
Hearing anything else bw?

I'm not a huge Jax fan. I really liked Livingston though. Mixed emotions, let's see who we take or what we do with 7.

I will miss him, but I recognize that the trade is a good one. Hope things go well for him in Milwaukee.
The only man to get a triple double in a Bobcat's uniform.

What jersey was Diaw wearing two weeks after Jack's triple double?

Personally, I like to pretend that Diaw doesnt play for us.

Crap, totally forgot. Stupid Diaw. Ruins everything for me.
Edit: Plus that game was in the middle of the day and it went to overtime and it killed our chances of making a playoff run.

I didn't catch the name, but someone on ESPN said about 15 minutes ago that he's not too happy about moving again.

Only fitting that the "Goodbye Stephen Jackson Thread" has turned into the "Fuck You Boris Diaw Thread."

Ahhhhhhhhh. Life is good. As I've said many times before, the irony is that I really like the guy as a human being...I mean, I could see myself being buds with the dude; but as a player, his isos are painful (nee suicidal) to watch as is his overall game, generally. No ill will; wish him moderate success; but glad he's gone nevertheless.

Loved the heart Jack brought the past 2 years, but moving him on was a necessary phase in the rebuild. I'm just glad we were able to find a taker that didn't rape us in the process. We got to unload Jack, got a slightly younger, similarly talented scorer in return at roughly the same salary and the same length of contract, and upgraded 12 spots in the draft. Although it's been somewhat tainted for me by squandering the pick on Biyombo, Cho definitely gets an A+ on his first assignment by engineering the trade itself.

I cant wait to see the reaction on here when that magical day comes. Seriously though, hate hate hate seeing Jack go but I love the trade.

To be fair, how many threads don't eventually become "Fuck Diaw" threads?

Remember when Diaw dunked it in the playoffs and Curry was like "Diaw Dunked it, first one of the season!" LOL

On paper this trade blows chunks. Michael is trying to rebuild.
