Our draft is a very difficult one to grade. We got a lot worse so that in the future we could get better. But, if we don't get better in the future, all we got was a lot worse! How do you grade that? Also, our picks could easily be boom or bust picks.

Basically, we swung for the fences and now we just have to wait and see if it goes out of the park.

If it makes you feel better, someone at CBS gave us an A+. It's all subjective and hypothetical anyways. Only time will tell.

The grades on our draft will reflect how the person grading already felt about BB and Kemba...if they had them rated low...low draft score (duh) so it pretty much goes with what dnb said...

The folks that see these as risky picks (that are unlikely...or maybe only one will) to pan out are going to give us that they feel reflects that...

Every draft grade I've seen excluding Foxsports, SLAM Online, Hoopsworld, Yahoo (yes Kelly Dwyer), have named us winners of the draft our given us high grades. For the first time possibly ever, we had a good draft night in the critics eyes.

Some analyst felt they have (now) too much redundancy...I like their assets myself...I'd have given them an A...

We were pretty bad before the draft, hard to say we could get much worse...have to give us a C at the least

Bahaha, nice Swedd. Washington got much better, which will again make the Southeast Division the toughest in the NBA.

...should make it easier for our chances at the #1 next season...correct...and then we'll draft the "flavor of the month" again who will save the franchise is 5-6 years...or oh wait...be a bust in 2...

I can see us really being a bottomfeeder in the East, especially if there are health questions over Henderson or Tyrus, though I assume they'll be good to go if/when this season begins. Barnes would help in the CP3/Dwight fantasy some people are living in as well (would be awesome, but I'm not buying). A CP3/Hendo/Barnes/Bismack/Dwight team with a bench of Kemba/Tyrus/Kwame/Dante/DJ White or something like it could really compete & run. Dream on.

Screw 'em all. So long as WE think we won to hell with them. We have a much less bias opinion then most of them...this is the first trade/draft I've ever thought we'd "won".

I'd take our opinions over theirs any day.

I'd take our opinions over theirs any day. I was telling a friend of mine the exact same thing yesterday. As a collective, we have a better feel and understanding of this team than anyone in the media (obviously, Rick included). The fact that most of us BCP members feel we owned this draft (teej getting STs!!!) makes me feel so much better than reading what _______.com gives us, high grade or low.


EDIT: spectre, even though I'll miss the humour of the sucker, glad to see the new avatar!

Barnes would be great because it wouldn't be a UNC homer pick - I truly think he'll be the best available next year (if he declares).
