I actually don't think that would be a terrible hire. I may be in the minority here, but I feel like Rambis was significantly holding that team back.

T-Wolves have an interesting young roster with guys like Love, Derrick Williams, Ricky Rubio, Wesley Johnson, Anthony Randolph, etc. The right coach could make them really fun to watch. Don't think Bernie is that guy, but who knows.

No you aren't in the minority, Rambis was horrible. 32-132 career record. Bickerstaff is not much better. He's not a horrible coach, and he's better than Rambis, but he isn't the answer. Just another Kahn move.

I know Don Nelson's name has been thrown around, if he could recapture some of his old magic I bet he could have some fun with this roster with all the random line-ups he could throw out there and all the offensive-minded terrific athletes the team has.
ND, you are right that BB is not the answer. Perhaps they should look for a hungry, young coach like many of us are envisioning for the Bobcats next year. And I guess when I said I'm in the minority, what I'm thinking is that I don't really consider Kahn to be as horrible a GM as people want to make out. His biggest mistake, IMO, is that he hired Rambis and let him go for so long, and the 2009 Draft was very questionable (though I'm not sold that Johnny Flynn is terrible, perhaps the triangle was holding him back, but now he has 0 trade value and Rubio's here, so yeah).

Does anyone remember when we had that emotional ceremony for Bernie when he said he was done being a head coach in the league? Before we played the Knicks here in the last game of a season. Guess he changed his mind huh?
