I wanted to bring this to light because I think was instrumental in determining why we are in the status we are now. If we could have re-done this draft we probably would not be looking to tank to get Harrison Barnes next year. I know this topic has been beaten down in the past, but there is not much basketball to talk about.

At the time of the draft it seemed to be a coin flip between Adam Morrison and Rudy Gay. Needless to say we went down the absolute wrong path.

To be honest, not a fan at all of these re-done drafts. Should of, could of, would of. In all hindsight it doesn't matter that you stuffed up in the past, the time is now.
So what we drafted ammo and he failed. We moved on from it, so should you. Waste of time and effort to even do these re-done things imo.

I kinda feel the same way, the past isn't going to change so why bother? Personally though I like every now and again to go through all these "what if" situations. I don't blame them for drafting Morrison, big name and his rookie year he was rather productive. Larry Brown ruined him. I'm one to joke about getting Morrison but in all honesty, at the time it wasnt a bad idea.

point of this thread was to be a "what if", something to past the time. I had wished that Ammo would have succeeded. That's not the only thing that I found was interesting, Tyrus would not have gone as high but still ended up with a lottery pick
Oh how our fortunes would be different with Rudy Gay.
But that's in the past. We banked on the college superstar, and he couldn't handle being a pro. A shame, but I'm over it.
