Have any of you guys ever been to this? I came across this actually pretty cool article about it on Grantland:

Sounded like a lot of fun. Just wondering if anyone had ever actually been or knew any more about it.

They do it every summer, this year they've expanded it into a couple games every "game night". It's the stomping ground for UNC/Duke players future, past and present (along with other local college players). The first game is usually wheelchair basketball (local adult teams), the local teams, then retired NBA/European Players, finishing up with the spotlight game of the night with the best NBA/NCAA talent.

i've been going for the last 3 years. it is pretty cool and a great way for the durham locals who can't afford or aren't connected to see unc or duke players play (read: durham black folks) get to see them. it is typical summer league where for every 10 minutes of good stuff you have to sit through 2 hrs of crap basketball.

I went twice this year, both Tuesdays. Big names I saw were mainly the Plumlees, Rasheed Wallace, Josh Powell, Seth Curry. I didn't see any big big names, I think they usually play Thursdays or Wednesdays. It wasn't packed, free parking, free admission. Lots of wheelchair basketball, a ladies game and about 4 minutes of actual interesting basketball. I loved it.
