I'm thinking somewhere between 5 and 8 wins this year.

5-11
Cam is going to face a ton of growing pains. He looked pretty nice in the first preseason game despite letting his shoulder rise a bit on some throws (the missed Armanti pass in particular), but there are going to be some games where he looks downright terrible and some games where he looks like the MVP. That inconsistency and our lack of high level DBs will keep us from doing too much, which is fine by me because we'll get a top 5 pick and end up with my boy Alshon Jeffery.

I go with 7-9 this season. Wont be nearly as bad as last year, but 2 young QB's will take time. Our defense will keep us in most games, and we have a very strong running game.

7 wins if Cam is the starter before October, otherwise 5-6 wins

I think Swedd has it right. 5-11 looks just about on the money.
After watching the first preseason game it really got me hyped for some football this season.

Cam Newton Offensive Rookie of the Year? Probably his to lose.

I say Mark Ingram or one of the two big receivers has the best chance, if only for lack of playing time in Cam's case.
3-4 wins probable if they can get 6 wins the season is a major success.

Just saw that John Kasay was cut a few weeks ago. Bummer :(
I'm pretty excited for a new era here with a new coach and new QB.

All it takes is one Jimmy Clausen concussion or 3 pick half.
Nah, you're probably right, safest bet may be Julio Jones. Hope the Panthers aren't forced to rush out Newton before he's good and ready, whenever that may be.

I say Julio and Ingram because of all of that hype they're (undeserving of) getting. I saw Ingram up close enough times as a SEC student to see that he doesn't have the speed to be a high level RB. And Jones, while super fast, isn't a very good route runner and doesn't have very good hands. Trading 11 picks for him, though, will put the spotlight on him.
Green will be special though. He was the guy I wanted the Panthers to grab.

Wow! I thought the Panther Defense would be a strong point of the team and help the offense. This is why I predicted 7-9. But the Defense has looked horrible against both Miami and Cincinnati. No way this team wins 7 games unless the Defense completely picks up their game. And when I say they looked "horrible", I was being kind.
